MY VERDICT: I really liked the icy blue hue of this dress on the runway—and apparently  Thandie Newton does as well, but I can’t help but adore the bright tangerine on Julianne. I would probably normally feel that the nude sheer insets were too heavy and needed a faint citrus to compliment the rest, but I think she pulls this off.  It may also be one of the rare times I liked the pairing of the nude suede “Tribtoo” platform YSL pumps as well.  | continue reading..

Emily VanCamp was pretty in bright pink when she walked the green carpet on Sunday night for the 2012 Environmental Media Awards, held at Warner Bros. Studios in Burbank, California.

The “Revenge” star rocked a candy-colored short dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Andrew Gn. This whimsical cocktail number features a square neck, contoured bodice and gathered ruffle skirt, which is broken up by a beautiful jade green embellished belt.

I didn’t expect Emily to be the one to wear this dress, but it was a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately, I’m not in love with her ‘sock bun’ hairstyle and I’m even less impressed by her shoes. They are way too boring for a dress this full of life!

Kat Graham continues to surprise me on the carpet. She’s never afraid to push the envelope, and there are so many faces to her personal style that you never know what you’re going to get — or what you’re going to like.

The mama of two arrived on the green carpet wearing a straight-from-the-runway full look from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection by Narcisco Rodriguez; a white blouse, black crop top, white open blazer and high-waist loose black trousers with a tapered ankle.

Kristen Bell rocked a little head-to-toe fuchsia last night for an interview on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” to promote her new movie “Hit & Run”, which just had its Hollywood premiere earlier this week.

The 32-year-old actress looked fabulous in a beautiful pleated berry-colored Cushnie et Ochs dress from the Resort 2013 collection. A crossover design was featured at the bodice with an opening at the abdomen that revealed a sheer inset. Michelle Obama, our First Lady of the United States, took over late night television on Monday night as a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” to promote President Barack Obama’s campaign in the presidential run this year.

Our beautiful FLOTUS was as pretty as flower in a sunny pale yellow layered tea-length dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Bibhu Mohapatra. As if the color of sunshine wasn’t striking enough against Mrs. Obama’s complexion, the vibrant brushstroke pattern of navy, white and teal green on the asymmetric overlay was simply gorgeous. | continue reading..

Katy Perry continued her promotional tour for her upcoming concert movie, “Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D”, by paying a visit to Jay Leno last night on “The Tonight Show”.

Fresh off her of wins at this year’s MuchMusic Video Awards, Katy looked gorgeous in a navy blue bustier silk dress from the Spring 2012 collection by Roland Mouret, which featured red floral embroidery going down one side of the design.

I love that she played up that bright element with a pair of cherry satin, double platform peep toe pumps from Giuseppe Zanotti with thin ankle straps. They were the perfect color and didn’t weigh down the thin dress. | continue reading..
