MY VERDICT: I always look forward to seeing Naomie on the red carpet, and after that stellar “Skyfall” fashion tour–err, press tour late last year, I was excited to see her at the opening ceremony for the Cannes Film Festival. The English actress hit the red carpet for the premiere of “The Great Gatsby” wearing a shimmering silver strapless column gown by Calvin Klein that fit her like a glove. It wasn’t the most voluminous gown, but Naomie did what she does best and kept it classic with a silhouette that works for her—and she simply shined.

Naomie wore her long hair up to show off those toned shoulders before putting the finishing touches on the look with subtle silver eyeshadow, a red manicure, and a black clutch with metallic trim.

She makes it look so easy.

KEVIN McHALE: I had to kick this whole thing off with Kevin because I just don’t think I could have contained my love for his hunter green jacket much longer!  The 24-year-old actor worked the heck out of that red carpet in his monochrome black shirt, tie and trousers while sporting a custom Oscar Olima dark green satin jacket over his shoulders with contrast details.  This was totally unique and eye catching—I loved it.  Kevin finished his look with shiny black dress shoes from Prada.

CORY MONTEITH: This is probably one of the best suit looks I’ve ever seen on Cory.  I loved his Calvin Klein Collection grey tuxedo with black contrast arched lapels and stripes down the sides of his pants.  It was well tailored and suited him very nicely.  Cory finished with black Christian Louboutin dress shoes, Ox and Bull Trading Co. cufflinks and tie bar, and a Versace watch. | continue reading..

Busy Philipps proudly displayed her growing belly in a custom made Gabriela Cadena navy blue long sleeve silk dress.  The “Cougar Town” actress, who recently announced her second pregnancy added some boldness to her look with a colorful one-of-a-kind Irene Neuwirth statement necklace and a matching embellished clutch by Judith Leiber.  A scarlet red lip, gathered mane and Brian Atwood “Stearling” shoes were the finishing touches.

Alexis Bledel like Jessica Pare, the 31-year-old actress also opted to wear a brilliant shade of emerald green at the SAGs this year. I love the color and pleated detailing of her structured Rena Lange dress, and the way her beautiful vintage House of Lavende colorful crystal necklace sat amongst the deep v-neckline. MY VERDICT: I have to hand it to Kate, she picked the perfect opportunity to wear a fur sleeveless mock neck top and caramel leather pencil skirt.  I didn’t think I’d see this look on the red carpet as I figured it was a total editorial number, but the 30-year-old actress really rocked it at Sundance.  With white platform calf-length boots to match her belt and neck detail, Kate actually made me like it more on her than I did on the runway.  A shiny boxy clutch, diamond stud earrings, a perfect polished ponytail and stained rust red lips helped complete her cool streamlined premiere look.

The men of “Twilight” were rocking some serious color on the black carpet for Monday night’s Los Angeles premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″! In addition to Robert Pattinson‘s green suit and Kellan Lutz‘s striking lapels, Jackson Rathbone was also having a bright moment as he worked a shiny blue monochrome look.

The 27-year-old actor flashed his pearly-white smile for awaiting fans at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live while clad in a stunning blue single-button arched lapel jacket and trousers from Calvin Klein Collection, which he partnered with a matching navy shirt and contrasting pattern tie. Seriously, how beautiful is this color? I shouldn’t even have to say that I prefer this over his crushed red velvet from last year—but, I will anyway.

He completed his look with a well groomed coif and side-burns along with a pair of shiny black dress shoes.

It’s pretty rare that we see him without his beloved vintage cowboy boots.

Emma Watson wore head-to-toe Calvin Klein Collection last night when she celebrated ELLE’s 19th annual Women In Hollywood celebration in Beverly Hills along with half of Hollywood, or so it seemed.

The 22-year-old “Perks of Being a Wallflower” actress hit the white carpet at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles wearing a Spring 2013 black layered satin mini dress with a sleeveless nude yoke. I think she looked even better in it than the model as it appeared a bit overwhelming and boxy on the catwalk, yet ended up being perfectly suited for Em’s petite figure. | continue reading..

Sarah Jessica Parker was honored last night during ELLE’s 19th Annual Women In Hollywood Celebration.

The 47-year-old former “Sex and the City” star flaunted her tanned bod in a strapless dove grey cocktail dress, with metallic trim and a sheer waist, from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection by Calvin Klein — who also sponsored the event.

When I first saw SJP in the dress, I didn’t immediately like it — but, it grew on me. I also prefer this color over the originally presented ivory. With that said, I would have liked for her to wear a pewter or printed shoe over the mauve satin and black lace Manolo Blahnik pumps that she opted for. I’m not feeling those.

She completed her look with diamond drop earrings and silky straight center-parted tresses.

Ashley Greene dipped into the Calvin Klein Collection archives for her breezy dress on Tuesday when she hit The Grove in Los Angeles to tape an interview for “Extra TV” while promoting her new movie, “Butter”.

The 25-year-old actress wore a pink shortened version of a grey floor-length panel tank dress from the Spring/Summer 2010 collection. While I prefer this feminine shade and gathered modification, I still chalk it up to another mature look for Ashley. | continue reading..

Olivia Wilde must have felt like a goddess on Thursday night when she attended the global launch event for the ENCOUNTER Calvin Klein fragrance wearing this green cape dress.

The “Butter” actress selected the emerald speckled silk mid-length Calvin Klein Collection caftan dress with an attached sheer long cape, from the Resort 2013 collection, to celebrate the new scent in New York City.

JENNIFER LAWRENCE, is that you?

Apparently that’s what W Magazine is telling us with the October issue featuring “The Hunger Games” star covered in feathers. She looks more like the Black Swan than Katniss Everdeen, am I right?

Although the 22-year-old actress was nominated for an Oscar last year and she brought the bow-shooting Katniss Everdeen to life on the big-screen this year in the ‘Games’, that’s not why she’s on the cover of the fashion magazine this month. JLaw is returning to the theater this month with her horror-flick “House at the End of the Street” — appropriately nicknamed “HATES”.

Scary.

For the cover, lens by Tim Walker, she wears a Calvin Klein black feather and organza dress with Urstadt Swan gloves, and as the cover reads, it’s Jenn ‘like you’ve never seen her before.’
