MY VERDICT: Someone is ready for spring!  Lucy was practically a garden princess in her strapless sky blue Carolina Herrera ball gown with an all-over flower and leaf pattern.  This dress is very beautiful, but I think the “Elementary” star was the perfect lady to don this design on the red carpet as it appears to be a tough one for many to pull off.  Lucy wore her long black hair in a sweet fishtail braid before simply topping off her look with white and canary yellow diamond drop earrings, and a subtle makeup palette.

MY VERDICT: Camilla shut that grey carpet down when she arrived looking nothing short of absolutely stunning!  The 26-year-old actress wore a watercolor polka dot pattern better than I think most people could; she selected an off-the-shoulder gown from Carolina Herrera‘s Pre-Fall 2013 collection that featured a tiered skirt and long train.  I just adore everything about this look; from the fit of the dress and bursting color against Camilla’s complexion and dark features, to the dazzling diamonds and youthfully elegant up-do.  I would say she nailed this one, wouldn’t you?

MY VERDICT: Emmy Rossum looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet in her constellation midnight blue organza gown by Carolina Herrera, which comes from the designer’s new Pre-Fall 2013 collection.  The silhouette, color, style and pattern were stunning—however, it was the diamond encrusted star pin appliqués at the shoulder and belt that really stood out to me. They’re gorgeous!!  With her long brunette tresses styled in glamorous big curls, the “Shameless” star finished off with bold earrings and a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.  I hope she felt like a shining star, because she certainly looked like one!

I really liked what Ashley Greene wore this morning on “Live! With Kelly and Michael”! There have been times in which I’ve been pretty excited by her clothes and other times that they’ve just felt so aging, but I’m loving the pretty balance of conservative and flirty with this embellished blouse and skirt number.

While appearing on the show to talk about “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ (in theaters nationwide at midnight!), Ashley wore a pale ice grey Carolina Herrera button-down blouse with tapered billowing long sleeves and a embellished open collar that she partnered with the matching light taupe softly pleated skirt. | continue reading..

Ashley Greene kicked off her press tour in New York to promote “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ this morning with an interview on the “Today” show. The 25-year-old was sporting a much shorter mane than the cascading curls she was working on Monday at the Hollywood premiere of the final movie from the epic film series.

Brightening up the day in a vibrant fuchsia, Ashley wore a light Carolina Herrera knee-length sleeveless crepe dress ($1,990, neimanmarcus.com) with tucked draping along the waist and skirt. I think the vivid color is beautiful on Ashley, but while she looks so nice sitting in it—I don’t really like how it hangs from her body as she stands.

Stephenie Meyer showed off her proud smile at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″; the fifth and final Hollywood night to celebrate the mega-successful film series that sparked from her best-selling novels about the epic romance between a teenager Bella Swan and her vampire love Edward Cullen.

To send off the film, Stephenie wore a custom reconstructed gown by Carolina Herrera. She paired a black button-down shirt with a origami belted waist and a silver floral stenciled metallic mermaid floor-length skirt. Considering Herrera also designed Bella’s wedding dress for Kristen Stewart in “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″; I found this to be quite fitting. | continue reading..

Elizabeth Reaser was hot as ice in her frosty light blue Carolina Herreragown tonight for the star-studded Los Angeles premiere of her movie “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, the final installment of the mega-successful vampire series.

The 37-year-old actress selected this Spring 2012 single shoulder sleek design with asymmetric folded elements at the bust and slim waist. It was a nice tribute of Liz to wear a gown by Herrera; the designer created the famous wedding gown worn by Kristen Stewart in “Breaking Dawn – Part 1″. I found it to be a sweet ‘send-off’.

I think the lovely pastel color was sweet against Liz’s fair complexion and chocolate-colored cascading curls. She didn’t wear any visible jewelry (I can’t see her ears) and minimal make-up, as it wasn’t needed, before completing her premiere look with a silver mirrored Calvin Klein Collection box clutch and a pair of black open toe platform Christian Louboutin pumps.

Like Renée Zellweger, another gal in Carolina Herrera at Thursday night’s Fashion Group International Night Of Stars gala just happened to be Kelly Ripa — a devoted fan to Ms. Herrera’s designs. Remember her beautiful dress at the Oscars this year?

The host of “Live! with Kelly and Michael” was joined on the red carpet by her husband Mark Consuelos, who dressed up in a black-and-white tuxedo. He pulls off an ivory dinner jacket very well. Kelly complimented him, without overtly matching, in a greyscale strapless gown with a black-and-white color-block bodice and a smoky grey mosaic full skirt.

The slim fit up top and the moderately wide skirt prevented Kelly, who is very petite, from being overwhelmed.

She finished off her look with soft pink-toned makeup, a partially pulled back curly mane and a silver clutch.

Renée Zellweger joined her designer friend Carolina Herrera on the red carpet on Thursday night as they attended the 29th Annual Fashion Group International Night Of Stars soirèe, held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

Ashley Judd hit the red carpet last night for the Primetime Emmy Awards in a bright gown.

The nominated “Missing” actress wore a bespoke purple-pink halterneck mermaid gown by Carolina Herrera, which featured contrast lilac straps that fastened into a large bow at the back of Ashley’s neck.

She wore her short brunette tresses swept back into a high pompadour style before finishing off with a crystal embellished minaudière, silver Swarovski-encrusted “Chloris” sandals by Sergio Rossi and diamonds from Martin Katz Fine Jewelry. | continue reading..
