This year marks the 10th anniversary of The Heart Truth — the amazing campaign which raises awareness about heart disease in women. The American Heart Association and all of the research and campaigns involved with raising awareness of heart disease is something that holds a strong importance in my own heart.

Last night, to the kick off the New York Fall 2012 Fashion Week, the Hammerstein Ballroom played host to the annual Red Dress Collection Fashion Show put on by The Heart Truth and sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company.

Mary J. Blige, one of the queen divas of R&B, arrived for the taping of the “VH1 Divas Celebrates Soul” special last night at Hammerstein Ballroom looking amazing in a crystal-embellished sleeveless off-white gown from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Michael Kors.
