MY VERDICT: I tend to look forward to seeing what Chloe wears because she always seems to have so much fun with her look. As a presenter for the Billboard Music Awards the focus wasn’t on the “Carrie” star, and therefore she got to choose her dress without too much pressure. The end result? A playful Fendi patchwork dress from the Spring 2013 collection.

First things first, I love that she shortened the dress to accommodate her petite figure—I also loved the addition of a wide black leather belt as it added some edge. I prefer the bottom design of the skirt to the top because of the cool shutter stripe pattern and muted colors, but overall I like it so much more on Chloe than I did on the runway.

As for her hair and makeup? Both were good–I wish she had done more with her hair.

Chloe completed her look with adorable black and white beaded Fendi sandals and a awesome dark green nail color.

WHERE & WHEN: Vanity Fair Campaign Hollywood 2013 on February 19, 2013.
WEARING: Christian Dior

MY VERDICT: Chloe pulled out her best LBD for the Vanity Fair party when she selected this long sleeve silk dress from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection by Christian Dior.  The fit-and-flare design featured a cropped top effect over a high-waisted full skirt adorned by a delicate thin bow belt.  Of all the Dior dresses the newly  turned 16-year-old could have worn, it’s nice to see that she opted for one of the most youthful.  This sophisticated party ensemble suited Chloe very well. They work fine, but I kind of wish the “Carrie” starlet had passed on the classic nude pointed toe pumps in favor of some skinny strap black sandals.  She polished it all off with swept waves, smouldering smoky eyes, and a perfect nude pout. | continue reading..

WHERE & WHEN: 10th Anniversary of Teen Vogue & Chloe Grace Moretz’s Sweet 16 Celebration on February 7, 2013.
WEARING: Chanel dress, shoes & bag with an Aeropostale jacket.

MY VERDICT: Chloe stood out in the bubblegum pink carpet in a little light blue Chanel when she attended her Sweet 16 celebration hosted by Aeropostale, which also served as the 10th anniversary of Teen Vogue Magazine.  The teen star is the current cover girl of the latest issue!  Chloe wore a cute ice blue bodysuit with a matching skirt and jewel belt from the Resort 2013 Versailles collection that she toughened up with a black faux leather Aeropostale biker jacket.  Tousled waves and ladylike Chanel accessories were added t balance out her ensemble; Chloe carried a white 2.55 mini quilted bag and wore a pair of studded grey suede pumps.  I really liked this from head-to-toe. | continue reading..

WEARING: Head-to-toe Dolce & Gabbana

MY VERDICT: Chloe is a starlet after my own tuxedo-loving heart.  The 15-year-old actress truly rocked the red carpet last night for the premiere of “Movie 43″ in her polished black Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo, which featured stunning floral lace. embroidery along the satin lapels.  This detail did well to compliment her white lace blouse.  Seriously, this suit is adorable and was a perfect fit for Chloe’s sophisticated taste in clothes while still being very age-appropriate for the teen.  She added a sweet touch with black satin bow-adorned pumps (available at luisaviaroma.com), before completing her look with wavy locks fastened with a few bobby pins.  Miss Moretz recently darkened up her blonde locks—I like it. | continue reading..

While I may not get a vote in how everyone is dressed, that doesn’t mean I don’t have an opinion on what I’d like to see—in comes my annual The Fashion Court: Wish List.  I’ve selected three different looks for ten ladies who are scheduled to attend tonight’s ceremony.  None of them are predictions, but some of my picks have come true in the past so you never know.

Chloë Moretz opted for a very bold and heavily printed ensemble when she attended the BBC Children in Need Designer Pudsey Auction, held at Christies Auction House last night in London. The “Carrie” actress wore a high neck short sleeve banana yellow top that styled underneath her typeface printed Versace dress. This vibrant peplum silhouette sheath design comes from the Fall/Winter 2012 runway collection.

I like that Chloë wore the top underneath dress. She’s only 15-years-old, so it was modest—but, more than that, it’s the middle of November and pretty chilly outside. | continue reading..

Chloe Moretz walked the red carpet on Saturday for New York Comic Con 2012 where she promoted her upcoming movie “Carrie” during a Q&A panel, held at the Javits Center. The horror flick is a remake of the 1976 classic starring Sissy Spacek and based on the Stephen King novel.

On Sunday night, MaxMara threw a cocktail party honoring the 2012 Women in Film: Face Of The Future fête at Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, California.

Some of the hottest ladies from the silver screen to your television screen came out to celebrate the evening in style, wearing looks from the MaxMara and Sportmax collections.

Maggie Grace has a new television show called “The Following” debuting this fall, where she stars opposite Kevin Bacon, as well as a large role as a vengeful vampire in the final installment of the “Twilight” franchise, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″. The 28-year-old arrived in a blush organza halterneck dress that she complimented with champagne satin accessories, including her evening clutch and open toe pumps.
