Christina Hendricks said she was inspired by “old Hollywood glamour” when she selected her gown for the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, which were held last night in Hollywood.

The red-headed “Mad Man” actress flaunted her famous curves in a bespoke cream satin strapless bustier gown by her friend Christian Siriano, which featured a mermaid train and a belted waist to define her hourglass figure.

Christina wore her fiery tresses in retro bouncy curls before putting the finishing touches on with red lips, black winged eyes and dazzling diamond earrings that matched her cuff bracelet.

She also carried a crystal encrusted patterned clutch by Judith Leiber.

Christina Hendricks stepped out on the red carpet tonight for the opening night of the Broadway hit “The Book of Mormon”, held at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

The red-headed actress rocked a long-sleeve black pleated Tadashi Shoji cocktail dress, which featured sheer chiffon stripe panels at the neck and shoulders, the wrist of her sleeves and the hem.

Christina Hendricks is one of the few out there who, to me, can get away with wearing black and make it feel like such a vibrant color. I think it’s her darn-near-perfect fair complexion paired with her fiery and gorgeous head of red curls.
