Anne Hathaway in Prada | “Les Misérables” Paris Premiere

WHO: Anne Hathaway
WHERE & WHEN:  “Les Misèrables” French premiere on February 6, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Just when you thought the press tour for “Les Misérables” was over, Anne took a break from the awards season circuit to pop back on the promo trail tonight with the French premiere.  The fair skinned, pixie-cut sporting Oscar nominee stepped out wearing a bright fuchsia double faced strapless column gown by Prada, which features gorgeous red crystal embellishing along the top.  This reminds me a bit of what Jessica Chastain wore last month at the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards.  I love the detailing and this sleek silhouette on Anne’s svelte frame, but the actual overall look wasn’t really a stand out moment. I feel like the crystals need to make another appearance, maybe with faux slanted pockets at the hips or an equally subtle incorporation.  It’s just missing ‘something’—and those pintucks under her bust are kind of weird.

Now, although this wasn’t a “flop”, I’m still waiting for her to really rock the carpet like she did at the Golden Globes.

Charlize Theron in Stella McCartney | “Prometheus” Paris Premiere

Charlize Theron hit the red carpet tonight in bright blue for the Paris premiere of her new Sci-fi movie “Prometheus”.

The 36-year-old actress stayed the ever-devoted fan to Stella McCartney in this longsleeve cobalt pencil dress, from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection, with a cool filigree design on the skirt.

I love the rich blue from this collection, and I believe it looks sensational on Charlize. But, while I’m into the dress — and totally loving her high ponytail… I don’t like the shoes. | continue reading..

Elizabeth Banks in Marc Jacobs | “The Hunger Games” Paris Premiere

In true Effie Trinket style, Elizabeth Banks hit the red carpet at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan for the premiere of “The Hunger Games” tonight in Paris!

The 38-year-old actress wore her short blonde hair up in a tight ‘do as to keep from distracting from the heavily detailed floral neckline of her pink sequined Marc Jacobs cocktail dress.

I love that she wore this dress! | continue reading..

Jennifer Lawrence in Tom Ford | “The Hunger Games” Paris Premiere

Forgive me for going there, but I have to… Jennifer Lawrence ‘brought sexy back’ tonight at the Paris premiere of “The Hunger Games” in a head-to-toe look from Tom Ford!

Sporting some seriously straight tresses, the 21-year-old joined her co-stars Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson along with director Gary Ross on the red carpet at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan.

Jenn looked beautiful in the knee-length long sleeve black cocktail dress that had a zipper detail at the front left hip that unzipped to her shoulders to show off a sassy full open back. | continue reading..

Michelle Williams in Christian Dior Couture | “My Week With Marilyn” Paris Premiere

Michelle Williams was obviously having a total princess moment when she arrived at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan on Wednesday night for the Paris premiere of her movie “My Week With Marilyn”.

The 31-year-old actress attended the Dior hosted event wearing a pink strapless ball gown from the Spring/Summer 2011 haute couture collection by Christian Dior. The rising hem of the flower bud dress looked amazing on Michelle’s figure; I absolutely adore the floral appliqués, feather plumes and the very feminine bow at the bust. | continue reading..

Amber Heard in Stella McCartney | “The Rum Diary” Paris Premiere

Amber Heard in Stella McCartney | 'The Rum Diary' Paris PremierePhoto:
Amber Heard has yet to hit a sour note on the promo tour for “The Rum Diary”!

The beautiful blonde actress attended the Paris premiere of the film with co-star Johnny Depp at the Cinema Gaumont Marignan in a form-fitting navy gown. Amber’s selection for the premiere tonight was a 3/4 sleeve jersey gown by Stella McCartney with a darker shade banding at the hem.

She’s still looking fabulous! Like I said before, there is something about her in solid color with minimal detail. Amber just radiates.

I love her hair, but I find myself torn as to whether it would’ve looked better down or not. Considering the draping back (waiting for a great shot of that to come out!), it’s probably best she left it up in this glamorous twisted style.

Once again.. her make-up? Say it with me now, “flawless”. Amber’s make-up artist is doing right by her! I really love the technique used on her eyes; the kohl rimmed style is intense without looking tacky.

I’m hoping she has a few more stops on this press tour. I won’t accept that this is the end.

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior | “Contagion” Paris Premiere

International press continues for “Contagion” as Marion Cotillard attended the French premiere of the film last night at Gaumont Marignan Cinema wearing a white and black dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Christian Dior.

No need to sugar coat it, I don’t like it. I thought the dress had a little shape to the skirt, but now I see it was simply because the model was in movement… it’s pretty flat.

Not only was her make-up and hair kind of bland, but she paired the dress with chain strap Dior pumps in a gorgeous coral color that didn’t do it’s job at improving the look. I normally like colorful shoes, and I still like these, but she should’ve worn the black pair. | continue reading..

Robert Pattinson in Dolce & Gabbana | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Paris Premiere Fan Event

It has begun…

It was mayhem when Robert Pattinson arrived with co-star Ashley Greene to a crowd of devoted fans at the Gaumont  Capucines cinéma in Paris, France for the first stop in the press tour for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1”. The very good looking actor wore a dashing dark grey 2-button suit and houndstooth printed shirt by Dolce & Gabbana with black leather oxford shoes (see below).

Robert always looks quite happy on the red carpet, but unfortunately the cameras only caught his “serious” look when he was posing. In every other photo that poorly shows his suit his face happens to be lit up with his signature smirking smile — go figure. | continue reading..

Ashley Greene in Givenchy | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Paris Premiere Fan Event

Today kicked off the first official day of press appearances for the vampy cast of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1”. First stop? Paris, of course! Ashley Greene arrived on the fan-lined red carpet after co-star Robert Pattinson (pictured below) at the Gaumont Capucines cinéma for a special fan event.

Not only did Ashley wear head-to-toe black, it was all by Givenchy! The 24-year-old actress wore a beautiful Resort 2012 folded navy blue peplum sleeveless cocktail dress (which looked navy blue due to lighting) that she paired with a silver spearhead pendant necklace on a leather strap from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection.

Givenchy always has somewhat of a rock ‘n’ roll edge to me that I’m almost shocked to see Ashley wearing this look. I never saw that as being her style, and if we’re going off this… I don’t think  my feelings have changed. | continue reading..
