Selena Gomez in Atelier Versace | “Spring Breakers” Berlin Premiere

WHO: Selena Gomez
WHERE & WHEN: “Spring Breakers” Paris premiere on February 18, 2013.
WEARING: Atelier Versace suit, Casadei shoes & Melinda Maria jewelry.

MY VERDICT: All hail the lady suit! Selena rocked the red carpet when she joined her “Spring Breakers” costars Ashley Benson and Vanessa Hudgens at the premiere of their film in Berlin wearing a fierce pinstripe black suit with gold detail from Atelier Versace.  This two-piece ensemble is brand-spanking-new as it was only recently debuted during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week last month—and it might be the coolest thing Miss Gomez has ever worn.  Not only are the metallic sequin embellishments obviously a selling point, but the tulle-covered cutout back locked it up for sure. Selena wore her long hair out in side-gathered cascading waves as to not disrupt that detail.  A ponytail would have been less of a hassle, but I pefer her hair out with this one. | continue reading..

Vanessa Hudgens in Naeem Khan | “Spring Breakers” Berlin Premiere

WHO: Vanessa Hudgens
WHERE & WHEN: “Spring Breakers” German premiere on February 19, 2013.
WEARING: Naeem Khan dress, Christian Louboutin shoes & Amrapali jewelry.

MY VERDICT: What a world of a difference a silhouette makes! I wasn’t thrilled with the voluminous frock that Vanessa selected for the French premiere of her new movie “Spring Breakers”, but the petite actress made a grand red carpet improvement when she attended the Berlin celebration wearing a colorful sleek gown by Naeem Khan.  Vanessa selected the single sleeve number from the designer’s Spring 2011 collection, which features a vibrant tropical pattern and a sexy thigh-high slit that showed off her ridiculously cool black spiked “Lady Max” sandals by Christian Louboutin.  I’m quite possibly obsessed with these heels, and I found them to be a funky choice over a safe pointed toe pump. | continue reading..

Taylor Lautner in HUGO Hugo Boss | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ Berlin Premiere

Taylor Lautner kept it chic tonight in Berlin, Germany for the last premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ in a monochrome suit with pops of navy. Oh, yes he did.

The 20-year-old actor posed on the “snow”-filled stage at CineStar with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart while wearing a black HUGO Hugo Boss two-button suit with notched lapels and flap pockets, which was paired with a matching tie over a dress shirt that was just a tad darker. This looks so good on him! | continue reading..

Robert Pattinson in Burberry | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ Berlin Premiere

Robert Pattinson bid a final farewell to his time as Edward Cullen with the last premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, which was held in Berlin, Germany this evening at CineStar.

The 26-year-old English actor, once again, looked devastatingly handsome wearing a Burberry suit in a color I’m sure his vampire alter-ego would appreciate—icy grey. I like the shade of the two-button and notched lapel suit, but I think what really made it work for me was the shine given off by his pale silver dress shirt and black tie that matched his buttons and shoes.

He also wore a suit from the British fashion label to the London premiere and for a New York appearance. | continue reading..

Kristen Stewart in Elie Saab | “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ Berlin Premiere

I was getting a bit nervous that we wouldn’t be dazzled by a Elie Saab creation on the last “Twilight” press tour, but Kristen Stewart shined in gold tonight for a grand finale when she posed on the faux snow-filled carpet for the German premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ wearing a dress by the designer.

Kristen looked so glamorous in her full length gold sequin embroidered gown with a high slit.

Mr. Saab’s designs were heavily featured in my wish list for the tour, so when I saw Kristen step out of her car on the livestream, my eyes immediately perked up to a gown that looked eerily similar to what Bèrènice Marlohe recently donned at a “Skyfall” premiere. As it turns out—Kristen is in a cap-sleeve, off-runway version of that Fall/Winter 2012 Ready-to-Wear gown. | continue reading..

Halle Berry has been on a busy press tour to promote her new movie “Cloud Atlas”; after premieres in Hollywood and Moscow, it was time to move onto Germany where she hit the red carpet at the CineStar cinema in Berlin on Monday evening.

The pixie-cut sporting beauty flaunted her curves in a form-fitting slinky dark grey asymmetric floor-length dress by Helmut Lang, from the Fall 2011 collection, which featured angled cap-sleeves and a sexy thigh slit. | continue reading..

Taylor Schilling in Azzedine Alaia | “The Lucky One” Berlin Premiere

Taylor Schilling is a new face to many, but she’s definitely been in-your-face all month long as she travels from one red carpet to the next while promoting “The Lucky One” all over the world.

I can say this much, she’s never been boring. A girl with good taste is not to be ignored — especially one in top designer threads.

For the premiere in Berlin, Germany last night, the 27-year-old actress — joined by costar Zac Efron, wore a vintage LBD by Azzedine Alaïa. I mean, if you’re going to go into the archives — Alaïa’s the way to do it. | continue reading..

Zac Efron in George Clinton | “The Lucky One” Berlin Premiere

Zac Efron wore a scrumptious raisin shade when he suited up in a design by George Clinton for the German premiere of his movie “The Lucky One” last night in Berlin.

The 24-year-old posed with his costar Taylor Schilling on the red carpet at the CineStar cinema.

If you read my posts regularly or watch my tweets, you should be very well aware that I’m an addict when it comes to men wearing color on the red carpet. This is the first time Zac has worn something of that variety on this press tour and I wish I could give him ten cool points, but the tech fabric is turning me off. | continue reading..

Josh Hutcherson in John Varvatos | “The Hunger Games” Berlin Premiere

Josh Hutcherson lightened up the black carpet with a grey suit as he arrived at the CineStar movie theater in Berlin, Germany for the premiere of “The Hunger Games”.

The 19-year-old actor wore a John Varvatos suit; a two-button notch lapel jacket with a matching vest and trousers that he complimented with a checked button-down shirt and a contrasting patterned silk tie.

He sticks to basic colors, but I appreciate that he mixes things up when it comes to the details of every suit. I like the mixed patterns between his shirts and ties.

Josh completed his look with a pair of black leather dress shoes.

Liam Hemsworth in BOSS Black | “The Hunger Games” Berlin Premiere

Liam Hemsworth was back in black tonight for the German premiere of “The Hunger Games” — BOSS Black that is.

The 22-year-old handsome actor hit the black carpet at the CineStar theater in Berlin wearing a three piece suit, including a peak lapel jacket, a five- button vest and a skinny black tie. Just like he did at the Los Angeles premiere, Liam brightened the look a bit with a white pointed collar dress shirt.

He finished off the look with lace up leather dress shoes.

The only thing that could have made this look even better would have been the added detail of a Mockingjay pin. A shiny gold pendant on his lapel sporting the movie logo would have been perfect!
