MY VERDICT: I don’t believe I’ve seen Givenchy look so good on the red carpet in a while, but I thought this single sleeve gown was a great red carpet moment for Claire. The new mom was obviously feeling adventurous, and although many women wore black and dark blue, I still feel like the “Homeland” star stood out due to the dark and dramatic overall feel of her black dress and maroon lips.  Claire’s dress is a bit modified from two designs featured within the Pre-Fall 2013 collection;  I love the graphic lined slit that showed off her black platform ankle strap sandals.

As for her other accessories—Claire didn’t make a big fuss of it when she simply opted for a funky Neil Lane geometric ring.  Because she went heavy on the lip, I’m glad the smoky eye was done a bit softer, and I really like her effortless ponytail.

MY VERDICT: Her first child is officially only a month old, and already it seems as though Claire’s figure is back to looking as fabulous as it did before her pregnancy.  The “Homeland” star wore a beautiful, yet simple cut red halter neck wrap dress that was custom made by Versace and featured a shiny red closure detail at the waist.  Although the dress was very nice, I think my favorite part of this look was Claire’s voluminous layered loose curls and smoky eyes.  She’s still glowing! This look was completed with sharp diamond long earrings and a pair of red satin peep toe shoes with platform from the Ferragamo Red Carpet collection.

Claire Danes was joined by her husband Hugh Dancy on the red carpet last night for the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards where she accomdated her growing pregnant belly with a draped gown.

The “Homeland” actress, who won Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series, wore a Lanvin canary yellow strapless draped silk gown, from the Resort 2013 collection. Claire said it was one of the first dresses she tried on, she didn’t need to alter it and it was comfortable — therefore, it was an instant pick. | continue reading..

Though Claire Danes hit the MET Gala red carpet with her husband Hugh Dancy on Monday night, she was also the guest of J. Mendel head-designer Gilles Mendel.

Claire wore a white silk asymmetrical gown with tonal embroidery.

She accessorized her look with a pair of satin Christian Loubutin “Very Prive” open toe pumps, but added a burst of color to the look with a turquoise evening clutch. | continue reading..

Claire Danes was among the attendees from the Hollywood guest list for the White House Correspondents’ Association dinner this past weekend.

The “Homeland” actress selected a white satin gown by Vivienne Westwood that featured an asymmetric draped halter-neckline. Typically we see variations of the same dress when the celebs turn to Westwood for their red carpet attire, so I give pointers to Claire for trying something new. | continue reading..

The “Homeland” actress made an appearance on the red carpet last night for the TIME 100 Gala, a soirèe celebrating the 100 Most Influential People In The World from TIME, wearing a look from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Lanvin.

We may be quickly approaching May, but the weather in New York has been so chilly lately that this would have been a great opportunity for Claire to rock the jacket for a few photos before revealing the dress underneath. | continue reading..

Claire Danes stepped out on the red carpet last night as she supported her husband Hugh Dancy at the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival premiere of his new movie “Hysteria”.

The 35-year-old “Homeland” actress looked very pretty in her bright hot pink cocktail dress by designer Narciso Rodriguez, with black bordering at the sides and under the bust. A peek-a-boo sheer inset sat above the bodice.

I really love the color and while I prefer this calf-length on Claire, I’d probably like the dress more if it was shorter. | continue reading..

Last night The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented a special Evening with “Homeland” at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in Hollywood where Claire Danes joined her co-star Damian Lewis and the executive crew from the Showtime series.

Apparently Claire Danes was feeling exceptionally girly on Sunday night when she opted for this voluminous candy apple pink sleeveless gown from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by Valentino.

The 32-year-old actress arrived at the official Oscar after-party thrown by Vanity Fair and Graydon Carter wearing this sweetheart neck gown that featured a sheer overlay with tiny floral appliqués and a full cascading ruffled skirt.

She reminded me of those dolls that people make a cake out of. You know, the ones where the doll sits at the top of the cake that’s decorated to look like her glamorous ball gown skirt?

That could be a good thing or a bad thing, but I think Claire looked nice.

She completed her look with open toe sandals and a swept up hairstyle. I only wish she had left the little delicate bow at the neckline.
