I didn’t think Taylor Swift could top her last two, but the 21-year-old Country singer is yet again having “the best year ever”.

Taylor showed off her toned shoulders in a short and strapless red cocktail dress with a full skirt by Porcelain when she arrived at the “CMT Artists of the Year” celebration last Tuesday in Nashville.

Faith Hill, Ellen DeGeneres, Sara Evans, and more, were all on hand to honor this years major talent in Country music; including Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Brad Paisley, and Kenny Chesney.

This night took place before her recent hair cut, so Taylor had gathered her curly goldie locks into a side twisted up-’do and wore red lipstick to play off of her sassy dress. I really loved the white gown that Faith Hill wore recently to the CMA Awards, and I didn’t think anything could really top that look for her until I saw photos emerge of Faith at the 2011 CMT Artists of the Year.

Faith presented at the celebration honoring some of the best of the best in Country music this year last week. The 44-year-old singer looked amazing in this long-sleeve nude silk dress with velvet flower embroidery and a moss green velvet belt tied at the waist from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Tom Ford.

The stars can’t get enough of Tom Ford! Can you blame them? The artistry of this dress is stunning; definitely not your typical floral cocktail dress.

Because of the classic crew-cut neckline, Faith was able to let her fun volumized blonde tendrils going wild and free.

She finished off her look with mirrored gold t-strap platform sandals by Fendi.

Sara Evans isn’t a fan of gowns, but a rare opportunity had her donned in one at the CMA Awards earlier this month — and she looked amazing. Last night she was caught in the middle when she arrived at the CMT Artists of the Year 2011 celebration in Nashville wearing this black calf-length pinstriped cocktail dress with floral embroidery by Mandalay.

Sara was on-hand to celebrate the five acts who were honored with being the “CMT Artists of the Year” for 2011; including Jason Aldean, Taylor Swift, Kenny Chesney, Lady Antebellum and Brad Paisley.

She’s said in the past that she “really likes to show off her legs” — which is part of her aversion towards gowns. I personally think this length not only shows off a little leg, but it also flatters her shape. She should try and stick to this silhouette once in a while.

Just like at the CMA Awards, Sara left her layered hair pin straight… and I still like it.

The night featured performances and appearances by Gavin DeGraw, Miranda Lambert, Matthew McConaughey, Lionel Richie, the All-American Rejects, Ellen DeGeneres, and many more. The event will air on December 13th at 9 p.m. ET/PT only on CMT.
