MY VERDICT: Making her first red purple carpet appearance since giving birth to her baby girl Lincoln a few short months ago, Kristen Bell arrived for the CMT Music Awards–for which she’s sharing hosting duties with Country singer Jason Aldean–wearing a fun little black leather dress. The 29-year-old actress selected this Zuhair Murad sleeveless cocktail dress, which features a high neckline and an A-line skirt with lace embroidered elements at the bodice and near the hem.

I tend to really dig leather and lace combo dresses, but I’m a big fan of this design in particular as it was one of my favorites from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. I love the fit-and-flare feel. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Karen Fairchild of the successful Country group Little Big Town arrived for the CMT Music Awards wearing a PAVONI nude cocktail dress with pretty black floral lace embellishments. The brunette songbird isn’t the only fan of this Resort 2013 strapless beauty, Disney Channel star Debby Ryan also rocked it at the “Safe Haven” premiere earlier this year.

MY VERDICT: It was all about dark romantic drama for Country singer Jana Kramer, who arrived for the CMT Music Awards wearing a sexy off-the-shoulder full length PAVONI dress that flaunted her toned figure without being overt. The 29-year-old former “One Tree Hill” actress selected the long sleeve gown with an elegant bead-embellished pattern, and a nude underlay, from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. I really like the overall detailing, but think the sleeves are the most beautiful element of the dress.

Jana wore her long chocolate ombré long tresses to the side in glamorous curls before completing her look with long Norman Silverman 18k white gold pave drop earrings and a matte red pout.

MY VERDICT: The Band Perry front-woman Kimberly Perry added a citrus pop to the purple carpet at the 2013 CMT Music Awards when she stepped out in this orange Oday Shakar full length gown. The 29-year-old singer let her long blonde curls fall over her shoulder as she posed in the chiffon v-neck design, with pretty lace cutout panels at the sides, from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. After seeing her in that bead-embroidered blush dress at the Billboard Music Awards a couple of weeks ago, this brighter and bold approach she took was much appreciated.

A gold clutch and peachy makeup to highlight Kim’s sun-kissed complexion completed her look.

Grace Potter glittered her way down the printed purple carpet at Bridgestone Arena for the 2012 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night, where she donned a sparkling gunmetal gown by Kaufmanfranco.

While the front of the dress featured a plunging open neck, the talented musician made sure to spin a few times for photographers to show off the totally open cutaway back.

No worries though, she wasn’t in danger of a wardrobe malfunction because the cutout detailing was covered with illusion sheer fabric to hold everything together for a flawless fit. | continue reading..

Miranda Lambert usually hits the red carpet with hubby Blake Shelton, but it was all about her girls last night when she arrived at the 2012 CMT Music Awards with her bandmates from Pistol Annies, Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley.

The 28-year-old “Over You” singer hit the printed rug at the Bridgestone Arena wearing a black strapless a-line tea length dress from Georges Hobeika ‘s Signature Collection.

I prefer seeing Miranda in dresses with straps. While she always looks lovely, I don’t think strapless cuts are her best look. I wasn’t a big fan of this dress, I did loved the way she styled her long blonde hair. Kristen Bell arrived to the 2012 CMT Music Awards last night wearing a golden sequin gown, but during her hosting duties, the 31-year-old actress slipped into a black Monique Lhuillier gown.

This black strapless silk design is from the Fall 2011 collection, and features a gorgeous metallic gold, embroidered harness element that binds underneath the bust before traveling in a t-bar halterneck style.

I think it was a stunning choice for Kristen, in fact, it’s something I would have liked to have seen her on the red carpet in.

She finished off this look with a wavy up ‘do with straying pieces to frame her face.

Ashley Greene was a presenter last night at the 2012 CMT Music Awards, and stepped out on the printed carpet wearing a feathered dress from the Donna Karan Atelier collection.

This open neck, nude midi-length cocktail dress was fully embroidered in waves of crystals before traveling into a full hem of embroidered feathers.

The 29-year-old singer rocked the purple carpet last night in Nashville for the 2012 CMT Music Awards, where she stepped out in a mega-sparkling silver metallic mini dress by Randi Rahm.

Due to the dark tones in the color of the sequins, Carrie accessorized with black elements, including her black crystal “Pure” clutch from Swarovski. But, the most eye-catching detail of her look would be those shoes!

The 28-year-old actress-turned-singer was there to perform her current single “Why Ya Wanna?”. It was her first major award show performance as Jana has been taking the Country music world by storm for the last year ,since finishing her stint on the long-running television series “One Tree Hill”.

She actually kicked off her music career through her character on the show!
