MY VERDICT: Why on Earth are more people not talking about how fabulous Connie looked last night at the Golden Globes? I mean, seriously, the 45-year-old “Nashville” star looked fantastic in her Kaufmanfranco “Ginger” crystal bead-embellished column gown, from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection.  As classic of a silhouette and style as it may be, when something works and looks good—run with it, and I’m so glad she did.  As if the dress wasn’t pretty enough to steal attention on its own, Connie perfectly accessorized with matching jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz. While a few of her gold bangles picked up the golden detail in her frock, the darker silver baubles complimented her nail color!  The look was complete with soft makeup and glamorous cascading ginger red curls.  On a note, is it weird that I totally pictured her wearing gold?

In less than 24hrs some of the biggest stars in television and film will walk the red carpet for the 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards in Hollywood, but what will they be wearing?  In comes The Fashion Court: Wish List, with a selection of pretty gowns that I could picture on several of the stars who will be attending. I obviously couldn’t ‘dress’ all of the nominees and presenters, or else this post would take you over an hour to read, but you’ll find eighteen of your favorites below.

Now, I know how these shows work; I imagine a good 50% of the stars will be in custom made dresses, especially some of the stars included in this list. That doesn’t mean I can’t have my fun, of course.

I was getting flashbacks to Nina Dobrev’s Emmy dress from last year when I saw Connie Britton hit the CMA Awards stage last night to present an award to Miranda Lambert with her “Nashville” costars Hayden Panettiere and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.

Connie Britton joined her “Nashville” costar Hayden Panettiere last night to present at the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards, held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Hollywood.

Though her hairstyle was questionable for many on-lookers, I don’t think there was any doubt that Connie’s shimmering Andrew Gn gown was anything but beautiful. This dark silver beaded halterneck gown features gold trim at the scoop neckline and straps with continuing detail with a built-in belt at the natural waist. | continue reading..

Connie Britton was beautiful in blue when she hit the golden carpet on Friday for Entertainment Weekly’s annual pre-Emmy party.

The “Nashville” star wore a twisted front cap-sleeved dress, an off-runway look from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Catherine Malandrino. The floor-grazing design featured a lovely waterfall cascading front with contrast shimmering blue lining.

After donning a pretty-in-pink frock earlier in the day, Connie Britton hit up the printed carpet for the Disney/ABC Summer TCA party at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Friday night wearing a fringed creation.

The “Nashville” actress arrived in a off-white cocktail dress by Marchesa that featured fringed elements in a brighter white at the bust and hem.

There wasn’t anything over-done about it — it was simply fun. The chalky color stood out against her summer glow and reddish-blonde hair, which was gathered into a loosely swept ‘do. | continue reading..

Dressed in a beautiful muted fuchsia, Connie wore a lace three-quarter sleeve cocktail dress by Dolce & Gabbana that she paired with nude slingback open toe pumps. The 45-year-old actress looked youthful and fresh in a silk tulle, open neck gown from the Spring 2012 collection by J. Mendel, with gathered ruching in artfully sculpted panels at her waist and hips.

I’m not too familiar with Connie’s red carpet track record, but I can’t help but like this dress on her! The steel shade of the color prevented her from looking washed out like a lighter shade world and it looks so lively against her red hair. | continue reading..
