Julie Bowen brought a creative element to the red carpet at Monday night’s Critics’ Choice Television Awards by donning a fun embroidered dress by Marchesa.

The “Modern Family” actress wore a silver and black strapless cocktail dress from the Spring 2012 collection, which featured a sheer black knee-length tulle base that was embroidered all over with a floral design.

From the waist up, large tufts of black tulle mixed in with folded silver organza embroidery. It reminded me a bit of the design on the gown Eva Longoria wore in Monte-Carlo, but it didn’t overwhelm Julie. | continue reading..

Like Emmy Rossum and Beth Behrs, “Elementary” star Lucy Liu also opted for a full length gown at the 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards on Monday night.

Lucy glided down the red carpet in a pale pink tier gown, with a plunge neckline and lace panels from Atelier Versace.

This design is from the Spring 2011 collection.

While I’m not usually a fan of such light colors, I think it looked really nice on Lucy. She wore her hair up in a elegant looped low ‘do that was very sweet and modern; it also allowed for her to completely show off both the dress neckline and her earrings. Lucy wore pretty pink drop earrings.

I couldn’t see her shoes due to the long train, but I love how she complimented the dress without being too “matchy” and carried a rosegold metallic clutch. I hope her shoes were of the same color.

What did you think of Lucy’s lacy Versace gown?

Alison Brie opted for a voluptuous look Monday night at the 2012 Critics Choice Awards as she arrived on the Beverly Hilton Hotel red carpet in a voluminous black cocktail dress by Oscar de la Renta.

This dress comes from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by the designer.

It was fun — a total party dress — and I’d say it was quite fitting for the occasion.

I wish her shoes had been a bit more inspired as they were just black platform satin pumps, | continue reading..

Ginnifer Goodwin sparkled her way into the 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards ceremony last night!

The “Once Upon A Time” actress chose a dramatic cocktail look, which included and black and gold sequin wavy stripe long sleeve dress, with a black sheer mesh inset at the plunging neckline, from the Fall 2012 collection by Viktor & Rolf.

I think it’s becoming quite impossible for Ginny not to look bad, but I do wish her shoes had been different. Sadly, I also think this dress was better suited for someone with longer hair, although, her cute pixie haircut looking as stylish as ever. | continue reading..

Beth Behrs in Paule Ka | 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards

After a successful style moment at the Tony Awards earlier this month, “2 Broke Girls” star Beth Behrs was back on the red carpet last night for the 2nd Annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards in Beverly Hills, California.

While she may have opted for a sexy siren look before, Beth was pure elegance this time around in a lovely, demure sleeveless, pale pink panel gown by Paule Ka with embroidered details.

This dress comes from Ka’s 2012 Black Carpet Collection.

I loved her matching accessories and diamond jewelry, but most of all, I think Beth’s hair looked fantastic as it waved back into a chic chignon style. She added a darker hue of her choice color to her lips with a candy pink pout!

Did you like this look on Beth?

Stana Katic represented her hit ABC television series “Castle” last night when she attended the 2012 Critics’ Choice Television Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Clad in her third black dress since last week, Stana has still managed to turn herself into a chameleon that keeps on changing. This time around she wore the “Dame” dress by Black Halo; a chic, modern LBD with a fun asymmetric peplum at the hip. While her actual clothing has been somewhat clean and simple, Stana has played up all the minute details when it comes to her hair, shoes and jewelry. | continue reading..

Emmy Rossum was having a major movie star moment at a television-centered award ceremony last night!

The “Shameless” actress hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel for the 2nd annual Critics’ Choice Television Awards wearing a gorgeous deep gold gilded asymmetric gown from Donna Karan.

The deliciously rich color of this metal tone simply illuminated against Emmy’s sun-kissed skin!

I’m so excited that Emmy wore her dark hair up, but in textured low side ponytail with wispy pieces to fall around her face. Without a doubt, she was truly one of the best dressed ladies of the night!

Emmy finished off with a rich berry pout and complimenting accessories;  gold heels and matching drop earrings.

What did you think of this golden girl look on Ms. Rossum?
