It was a TV star-studded affair on Friday night when your favorite ladies from your must-see shows hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California for the annual Summer TCA bash, which was held for the CW, CBS and Showtime network series. Some gals had all the luck and style on their side…while others definitely did not.

Yvonne Strahovski got dressed in her best cocktail frock for a night on the red carpet at the Showtime bash for “Dexter”, which was held during Comic-Con International 2012 this past Sunday in San Diego, California.

The 29-year-old Australian beauty wore a flared grey dress from the Fall 2011 Z Spoke by Zac Posen collection.

Because of the light color of her dress, I’m glad to see that she and her stylist were on the right track by adding some colorful earrings into the mix. Yvonne wore beautiful turquoise and orange stone earrings that peeked out beneath her golden blonde, shoulder-grazing wavy mane.

It would have been nice to see vibrant pop that extended to her footwear, but she unfortunately wore a very pale and very basic pair of open toe platform pumps. Ugh, they nearly ruined the whole thing for me.

This look was complete with complimentary make-up, nude nails and a mustard-colored minaudière.

Michelle Williams wasn’t the only woman rocking siren red this past Sunday night for the 2012 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Three only ladies got in on the scarlet action, so let’s take a look…

Kyra Sedgwick showed off her rocking body (and tattoos!) in a crisscross halterneck gown by Emilio Pucci with sexy cutouts at the waist. Perfectly fit and completely smooth = a total winner. You couldn’t see her shoes and when asked on the red carpet what they were, she didn’t know — but they were Casadei. Kyra wore triple platform pumps in a shimmery champagne.
