With Ryan Seacrest in New York City handling Times Square for New Year’s Eve, Fergie took over in Los Angeles in-studio with all the performers for “Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve 2012″ event.

Fergie had three wardrobe changes that night including this purple, blue, and black crystal-embellished mini dress from the Autumn/Winter 2010 haute couture collection by Michael Cinco. This was originally seen as a gown in shades of green. I prefer the color combination of Fergie’s dress, but I’m so distracted by the nude lining between the v-neck split. I feel like it should’ve just been black or one of the purple shades; it was necessary but it looks like she has on one of those ‘Cami Secrets’ they selling through infomercials late at night. | continue reading..

Florence Welch was among the many musical artists that helped bring in the new year on “Dick Clark’s New Year’ Rockin’ Eve 2012″ special hosted by Ryan Seacrest and Fergie.

The lead singer of Florence + the Machine took to the stage to perform “Shake It Off”; the first single from their recent album, “Ceremonials”, wearing a gold and black graphic dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Gucci.

On the catwalk the dress was seen sleeveless, but Florence wore a modified version with draping sleeves that hit at the elbow. I hope Florence did some twirls on the stage to show off the beautiful fringed skirt.

As it usually is the case when she wears a Gucci design, Flo looked fabulous.

Much like Katy Perry did last year at the American Music Awards, Nicki Minaj channeled the Jetson’s for her performances of “Turn Me On” and “Super Bass” on the Ryan Seacrest and Fergie hosted “Dick Clark’s New Year’ Rockin’ Eve 2012″ special.

Nicki wore a silver and blue futuristic dress and pants with an embellished collar that was custom designed by Johnny Wujek — he also designed Katy’s pink dress!

Known for her crazy hairstyles, Nicki’s hair was actually pretty — dare I say it — normal. Her stomach grazing straight bright blonde tresses were iron flat with just a portion of the front pulled back into a half up/half down style. | continue reading..
