MY VERDICT: Kerry walked the white carpet last night for the UK premiere of the Quentin Tarantino-directed “Django Unchained” wearing an unusually cool gown by Giles Deacon.  This winter white Spring 2013 frock features a sleeveless fitted bodice with a square neckline that faces off against a full skirt, which is printed with a horse pattern motif!

I don’t imagine many grown women could pull off a horse graphic skirt that’s tucked into a raised bubble silhouette, but somehow Kerry managed to rock it. Even more than that, she did it while pulling off white pumps!  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: I was very apprehensive about how the vivid checkered pattern in the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2013 collection would translate on the red carpet, and yet I’ve continued to be pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve been loving it on everyone lately.  Kristen Stewart was the first to wear something from it—a playsuit, but since then Bérénice Bejo, Hailee Steinfeld, and now Kerry have jumped on the boxed-out-band-wagon… and I totally dig it! | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Kerry brought the glamour to the red carpet tonight at the French premiere of “Django Unchained” wearing a off-runway bustier gown by Rochas.  Originally seen in a red, black, black and navy dramatic combination, this dress was previously presented as two separate looks on the red carpet.  The strapless bustier served as the top of a tea-length ball gown, while the pleated gliding skirt was a separate in a midriff baring ensemble. | continue reading..

Liv Tyler stepped out on the red carpet to support Quentin Tarantino’s latest movie “Django Unchained” last night at the screening held in New York City. We may be approaching the Christmas holiday (and much colder months), but apparently according to Liv—when you’re in a floral print mood, just go with it.

The 35-year-old actress wore a figure flattering black Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2012 dress, which featured ruched detail and a scattered all-over floral pattern.  I love the colors in this pattern, and while I’m glad she wore black sheer tights to help finish the look—I’m not really into the black velvet ankle boots.

Liv topped her look off with slightly wavy tresses and a poppy red pout.

Kerry Washington hit the red carpet yesterday for the Comic-Con 2012 press conference panel to promote her new movie “Django Unchained” with costars Walton Goggins, Don Johnson, Christoph Waltz and Jamie Foxx.

The 35-year-old star of the upcoming Quentin Tarantino film wore a full pleated floral skirt from the Resort 2013 collection by J. Mendel, but instead of pairing the look with the sleeveless midnight blue blouse from the line — she attempted to add edge.

Kerry paired her skirt with a black leather sleeveless collared top from A.L.C. and added onto the look with a purple and red leather belt — though I’m not really sure why.

If it were black, it would make sense…but it doesn’t really stand out and the colors don’t match anything she’s wearing. | continue reading..

Kerry Washington hit the red carpet tonight at the Shrine Auditorium for the 2012 BET Awards, where she presented with her “Django Unchained” costar Jamie Foxx.

The 35-year-old actress arrived in a beige strapless bustier top and belt from the Resort 2013 collection by Altuzarra; the belt featured a bold ornate gold buckle. Kerry paired the stretch top with a black crepe J. Mendel skirt with a flounce hem.

Naturally, I would have preferred that she opt for a full summer look by wearing a brighter skirt, but she accessorized it really well with gold and black elements. | continue reading..

It’s interesting how some Autumn looks can effortlessly transition into Spring attire, but that’s exactly what Kerry Washington was able to do when she attended the “Django Unchained” photo call at Summer of Sony 4 Spring Edition in Cancun, Mexico this morning — while wearing Stella McCartney.

The 35-year-old actress was joined by her co-stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx and Christoph Waltz.

Kerry looked beautiful in a vibrant blue wool crepe dress, from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, that featured brilliant orange mosaic and rose print elements on the long sleeves and lower half of the dress. | continue reading..
