ROBERT PATTINSON is on a September cover, you guys!

That’s right, the “Cosmopolis” star graces the first BlackBook issue of the Fall and he’s all kinds of technicolor goodness in the cover shot, lens by Autumn De Wilde, as he shows off his blowing reddish hair and rocks a cool white “Wave” t-shirt from Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière‘s latest “Egyptofunk” collection all while in front of a multicolored background reminiscent of a Scratch Magic art toy from my childhood.

But, it gets better! Some genius, we’ll call him Christopher Campbell (because that’s his name), styled the British actor in a variety of ridiculously amazing threads from the Fall/Winter 2012 menswear runway; including patterned and fur trim jackets, argyle polo tops and colored denim — all while he’s inked up in fake tattoos.

I mean, is it Christmas already? | continue reading..

Who’s ready to see Maggie Grace play a bad girl vampire in the fifth and final installment of the “Twilight” saga this fall?!

The 28-year-old actress, who stars as the vengeful Irina in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″, hit up the Twi-bash thrown by Fandango on Wednesday night in San Diego, California as a Comic-Con send off for the popular series.

Earlier in the evening she stopped by Hall H at the convention center to sign autographs for camped out fans.

Maggie wore a black Dries Van Noten top that was embellished with silver sequins to create a floral and leaf pattern. She paired the pretty blouse with a hot pair of Theory leather “Lura” short-shorts before brightening up with a Spring 2012 “Jim” blazer from Elizabeth and James. | continue reading..

Making her VOGUE Magazine debut, “The Amazing Spider-Man” star EMMA STONE covers the July 2012 issue, lens by Mario Testino, wearing negligee-looking Nina Ricciivory and pale pink silk-and-wool dress with lacy black elements and a wool-tweed coat from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection.

Tonne Goodman styled Emma for the cover shoot and helped her accessorize the light colored pieces with sparkling star earrings by H. Stern, while hairstylist Christiaan gave her blonde mane a relaxed, partially swept feel and makeup artist Linda Cantello carefully lined her eyes to really pop yet kept her pout on the pale side.

For the editorial, Emma played the androgynous look by suiting up in patterned menswear-inspired outfits as well as a few sassy — and slinky — frocks from designer collections like Prada, Versus, Jil Sander, and Givenchy. “This is what fashion does for people,” Stone says. “It makes them feel like it’s an extension of themselves.”

Inside the issue, Emma talked to Nathan Heller about the latest Spider-Man flick, her idols (which include Diane Keaton, by the way), and finding the balance between drama and comedy in her acting career. | continue reading..

Dark Beauty: Charlize Theron & Kristen Stewart for Interview Magazine!

Dark Beauty: Charlize Theron & Kristen Stewart for Interview Magazine!Photographed by: Mikael Jansson for Interview Magazine; Styled by: Karl Templer; Hair: (Stewart) Anthony Turner & (Theron) Enzo Angileri; Makeup: (Stewart) Mark Carrasquillo & (Theron) Pati Dubroff; Nails: (Stewart) Ashlie Johnson & (Theorn) April Foreman
There’s no doubt about it, CHARLIZE THERON and KRISTEN STEWART are an unstoppable force. They may be from the opposite sides of good and bad on the big screen, as they face off as the evil queen Ravenna and the fair Snow White in Universal’s “Snow White and the Huntsman”, but the two are friends in real-life — and a pair of stunning gal pals, if you ask me.

Both ladies took over the fashion magazines this past month as they geared up for the June 1st release of their film, but the June/July 2012 issue of Interview Magazine gave us something we really wanted — a devastatingly glam cover shoot with both striking femmes!

In this dark and beautiful editorial lens by Mikael Jansson, Charlize and Kristen pose in the gothic-chic United Artists Theater in downtown Los Angeles wearing some of the most glamorous looks from the latest Fall 2012 collections as they brood behind sleek tresses and dark lips.

Karl Templer pulled some of the most striking pieces from designers like Tom Ford, Versace, Lanvin, Christian Dior and Dries Van Noten for the ladies, and The Fashion Court appreciates his fine eye that helped create a prominent fashion palette.

Because this is ‘Interview’ magazine, Elvis Mitchell sat down with the SWATH stars to talk about their kick-ass movie, their very broad film careers, Charlize’s newest role as a mother, and tons more. It’s a juicy read!

But, let’s take a closer look at the fashion, shall we? | continue reading..

2011 Style Verdicts: Red Carpet Moments – Male Suspects

2011 Style Verdicts: Red Carpet Moments - Male SuspectsIt isn’t always about the dresses or the shoes when it comes to looking your best on the red carpet — it’s also not always about the ladies. I’m constantly gushing about my love of menswear — and thanks to the following fellas — I got my fill of some great red carpet suits and well-groomed men this year.

Model, and upcoming star of the “Romeo and Juliet” movie, Douglas Booth was a favorite of mine this year. He’s always been slightly on my radar, but he really caught my eye when he attended the EvianVIP Suite at Wimbledon this past summer brightening up black jeans and a white tee with a pinstripe bright kelly green blazer. I love a man in color.

He played it a bit neutral later on for the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show in London. He, once again, wore black jeans and a low neck white tee –but, this time he dressed it up with a nice textured tan blazer cuffed to show off the white pinstripe interior detail. I love his choice of footwear! The brown and beige in his lace-ups made it all worthwhile. | continue reading..

Maggie Gyllenhaal in Dries Van Noten | 2011 Rome Film Festival Photocall – “Hysteria”

Did Maggie Gyllenhall get dressed in the dark for the “Hysteria” photocall on Friday?

While I like her Dries Van Noten Spring 2012 scenery printed open-sided dress, I’m not sure what possessed her to wear them with these brown, violet and wood wedges.

It doesn’t look good… it doesn’t even sound good as an idea. The shoes don’t match and the dress looks like a tent on her.

On top of all that she wore thick black tights, bright red lips, and a messy bun. I can see the flyaways all over her head even from a small photo.

She looks like she just woke up.

I know Maggie can do better than this.
