MY VERDICT: Despite wearing a very bold lipstick red gown by Diane von Furstenberg, it was actually Teresa’s darkened eyebrows that I noticed first. I mean, how can you not? That being said, the “Warm Bodies” actress looked gorgeous in the sexy plunging neck gown that was custom made for her.

The eyebrows take some getting use to–unlike her hair, which looked amazing. Teresa left her long golden blonde tresses out in power waves while having the side braided in. I think she had one of the best hairstyles of the night, and I desperately want to recreate this one myself. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: As if I couldn’t be more excited for spring weather to finally arrive and this 38 degree craziness to disappear, Selena just had to wear this adorable Oscar de la Renta outfit to the Kids’ Choice Awards!  The “Spring Breakers” starlet was thinking along the same lines as Kristen Stewart and opted for comfortable, yet dressed up, shorts.  Selena selected a pretty pale turquoise silk gazar peplum top with white textured cotton linen shorts from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection.  A similar embellished pink ensemble was seen on the runway as well as a white version of her top.

Taraji P. Henson shimmered in dark gold when she hit the electric hot pink carpet last night for the Black Girls Rock! 2012 event, hosted by BET and held in New York City at the Paradise Theater.

Her Diane von Furstenberg “Delian” metallic jacquard peplum dress ($485, neimanmarcus.com) practically vibrated off the lights of the cameras. I really like the pencil silhouette, caftan split collar and frayed sheer insets at the open sleeveless openings. The design more than flattered Taraji’s curves. | continue reading..

Last Sunday night brought out the stars for The Conversation Launch Celebration at DVF Studio in NYC. The soirée was held in honor of Amanda de Cadnet’s new series on Lifetime.

Malin Akerman was rocking a shimmering Diane von Furstenberg micro gold, sleeveless shift dress. Malin perfectly coordinated her look with the golden heel “Bois Dore” black suede pumps by Christian Louboutin and a black evening bag that was enriched with golden star bursts.

I really, really liked it — but I almost loved Lea Michele’s look at the MET Gala this year.

The 25-year-old “Glee” actress was striking in a midnight blue sequined plunging halterneck gown by Diane von Furstenberg that featured a sexy thigh slit in the front of the slinky skirt and twisted detail at the center of the design.

A red silk version of this dress was featured during von Furstenberg’s Fall 2012 runway presentation.

The 39-year-old actress joined her longtime pal Amanda de Cadnet as they celebrated de Cadnet’s new interview series on the Lifetime television network.
