Elizabeth Banks shocked me and didn’t wear color at all on the red carpet tonight at the MTV Movie Awards.

So much for that wish list.

Despite the lack of brightness, “The Hunger Games” star still stuck to her usual bold style and killed it in a striking Elie Saab black stretch crepe, long-sleeve jumpsuit, with lace cut out panels from the Fall 2012 collection.

It was perfectly fit and totally cool! Elizabeth went for it and didn’t fall flat in anyway. She was easily one of my favorites of the evening because if there’s an award show to pull this look off, MTV is behind it.

She finished off her look with a twisted top-knot bun, bright pink nails, a Stephen Webster gold and black onyx dagger ring, a perpex Lulu Guinness “Lips” minaudière and a super hot pair of “Prefab” pumps by Ruthie Davis. | continue reading..

Elizabeth Banks has been on an extreme press tour this past week for her new movie “Man On A Ledge” but earlier this month the 37-year-old actress was already getting a jump-start on promo for “The Hunger Games” which is due in theaters this March.

For an interview with MTV, Elizabeth rocked a metallic sleeveless a-line dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Thakoon.

Her hair looked pretty in a unkempt chignon and I really like that she paired her dress with black tights and matching shoes.

I couldn’t imagine ‘Effie Trinket’ in anything less flashy – even for an interview.
