MY VERDICT: It was all about Chanel for Elizabeth, who hit the red BAFTA carpet in a black Fall 2011 Haute Couture dark blue organza peplum gown entirely embroidered with silver sequins, dark blue feathers, and organza camélias.  To be honest, I wasn’t all that crazy about this dress on the runway, but I think Lizzie is changing my mind a bit.  The 23-year-old “Very Good Girls” actress was owning it and bursting with confidence, which made the dress look better in my eyes.  I’m so glad that she didn’t try to over-do it with major hair, makeup and accessories.  With such an attention-grabbing dress, sometimes the rest of the details are best left with a subtle approach.

Lizzie simply finished with loose waves, a black clutch, matching pumps, and 18k “Profil de Camélia” and “L’Air” rings in white gold and diamonds from Chanel Fine Jewelry.

Elizabeth Olsen brought promotion for her new movie “Liberal Arts” to the other side of the pond with a Sunday afternoon photocall in London, England.

The 23-year-old actress rocked a low-key monochrome ensemble, which included a black burnout tank top paired with a stark white Topshop Fluid Longline Blazer. Lizzie partnered both with a midi-length black leather pencil skirt from ASOS. | continue reading..

Elizabeth Olsen showed off her dark-side at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party this Sunday when she stepped out at Sunset Tower wearing a black gown from the Pre-Fall 2012 Christian Dior collection.

The sheer gown, with leather and organza tiered embellishments, was altered into a short-sleeved design for the 23-year-old “Silent House” actress.

Lizzie didn’t go overboard with accessories, she kept things lightly on the ‘edgy’ side with smokey eyes, smooth wavy tresses, a pale pout, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and a leather handbag from The Row.

As for her jewelry, Elizabeth wore a Saloni brooch and rings from Kara Ackerman, Roseark, and Graziela.

The Academy Awards may just be a few hours away now, but last night was CHANEL‘s annual Pre-Oscar dinner with Charles Finch at Madeo in Beverly Hills — and boy, did the stars come out!

After attending the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards, Elizabeth Olsen took some time to relax before getting ready for the Chanel soirèe. The 23-year-old actress arrived wearing a luxe bow-embroidered three quarter length blue coat over a printed navy dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 haute couture collection. With a swept up hairstyle, Lizzie completed her look with my favorite part of it — triple ankle strap pumps from the collection.
