MY VERDICT: Continuing forward on her stylish streak, Emily looked fabulous in the black peplum Alexander McQueen gown.  I adore the polished square neckline and sassy split open back.  With such a subtle and no-fuss sexiness, I like that the “Looper” star accessorized simply with a diamond bracelet, matching stud earrings and a wide black belt—finally, the belt!  She completed her look with a coral lip color and a simple twisted up-do.

MY VERDICT: Can we talk about how amazing Emily looked last night at the Golden Globes?  The “Looper” actress rocked a Michael Kors gold metallic lace chain embroidered cut out gown, from the designer’s Resort 2013 collection. I’ve been in love with this dress for a long, long time, and when I still hadn’t seen it on the red carpet, I had almost given up hope that I would—that is, until Emily.  Not only was the dress a great fit with a bit of sexiness added to a classic silhouette, but I loved the pop of color she added with raspberry-and-gold sparkling jewelry. Emily completed her look with an elegant twisted up do and a shimmering Ferragamo gold minaudière with encrusted with Swarovski crystals.

She was definitely one of my favorites of the night. How about you?

In less than 24hrs some of the biggest stars in television and film will walk the red carpet for the 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards in Hollywood, but what will they be wearing?  In comes The Fashion Court: Wish List, with a selection of pretty gowns that I could picture on several of the stars who will be attending. I obviously couldn’t ‘dress’ all of the nominees and presenters, or else this post would take you over an hour to read, but you’ll find eighteen of your favorites below.

Now, I know how these shows work; I imagine a good 50% of the stars will be in custom made dresses, especially some of the stars included in this list. That doesn’t mean I can’t have my fun, of course.

MY VERDICT: Yowza! Emily looked phenomenal last night in her white silk crepe Miu Miu dress, which featured beautiful pearl pailette embroidery along the neckline that turned into a criss-cross open back.  This super sexy dress enhanced the retro glamour the “Looper” star was obviously going for considering her stunning Old Hollywood pin-waves, which were softly pinned at the front with a single gold bobby pin.  She continued adding shimmering metallic effects with a woven satin clutch, two Graziela rings and a pair of glitter champagne gold Prada sandals.  I love how they picked up the crisscrossing detail from her dress.  This look was topped off with non-other than flawless ruby red lips. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Emily gave us minimalist chic last night when she attended the National Board of Review cocktail awards gala wearing a fabulous little nude Emilio Pucci dress. The “Looper” actress rocked an off-runway Fall 2012 number, which features cutouts at the shoulders and waist. This fit Emily’s figure like a dream, and I love how her loose light tresses and soft makeup helped create a heavenly blush palette.  She finished with gorgeous rose gold metallic pumps. A++

Emily Blunt brightened up the red carpet last night for IFP’s 22nd Annual Gotham Independent Film Awards in New York City wearing a creamy white Calvin Klein Collection cocktail dress.

The English actress, who was sporting some lightened tresses, had a mix of ‘sweet-and-sultry’ going on with her strapless tea-length silk dress from the Resort 2013 collection, which featured a notched neckline and sexy cutouts at the waist. | continue reading..

Emily Blunt looked both beautiful and Halloween-festive last night when she donned an orange gown for the Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year Awards in London, England.

The English actress wore a vibrant citrus Alexander McQueen halterneck crepe gown with an open back and jewel neckline, from the Resort 2013 collection. This was one of my utmost favorite designs from the collection, and I had actually included it as one of my Celebrity Wish List picks for Kristen Stewart.

I’m not too much that she wasn’t the one to wear it because–for one, there are other lovely orange (and gold!) gowns in the collection, and two–I can’t deny how fabulous Emily looks! | continue reading..

Emily Blunt looked beautiful on the red carpet tonight for the premiere of her new movie “Arthur Newman”, held during the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival.

The English actress wore a white Tory Burch for the Green Carpet Challenge “Ethel” dress, which is made of 100% silk tulle reclaimed from Tory Burch end of line and archive store made to GCC criteria.

She paired the dress with a Tory Burch recycled brass multi floral necklace that embellished with amber and light topaz.

When asked about her special dress from the Green Carpet Challenge, Emily said “I am so happy to support Livia Firth and the Green Carpet Challenge by wearing a gorgeous Tory Burch eco-friendly gown at the premiere of ‘Arthur Newman’.
