After wow-ing on the red carpet for the CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, it was back to California for Sophia Bush where she hosted the launch of the Apolis Defend Tomorrow Campaign on Tuesday.

The 29-year-old former “One Tree Hill” actress has always been a wholehearted human rights and environmental activist. I’ve watched Sophia dedicate any spare minute she’s had, when she’s not acting, to helping others practically for nearly a decade, and now she’s lending her support to Apolis with owners and brothers, Shea and Raan Parton.

For the event, Sophia kept it casual and chic in a grey and white “Fisherman” striped tank top by Enza Costa that she layered with a navy blazer by Stella McCartney. Sophia Bush made a dazzling entrance tonight for Global Green USA’s 9th Annual Pre-Oscar celebration held at Avalon in Hollywood. The event was dedicated to supporting ‘Green’ schools and ‘Green’ communities.

The 29-year-old actress/environmental activist turned heads in a silver beaded gown from the Spring/Summer 2011 couture collection by Dilek Hanif  with a slinky skirt and a sleeveless blouse that drapes over. She looks amazing!

She styled her multicolored honey brunette tresses in side-parted pin waves that cascaded over her shoulder and showed off her large 14k white gold Amrapali earrings with diamonds and cats eye. Sophia also wore a matching 14k gold and multicolored diamond square bangle. | continue reading..

Earlier this month Sophia Bush enjoyed a night of stand-up comedy hosted by Seth Rogen while supporting a good cause when she attended the “Hilarity for Charity” event to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
