MY VERDICT: Finola kept it simple and chic when she hit the red carpet for the 2013 Daytime Emmy Awards wearing a glamorous Adrianna Papell gown. The “General Hospital” star opted for the black shutter peplum strapless design from Papell’s Spring/Summer 2013 Evening collection. I’m not always on board with this extended detail at the waist, but it definitely works for some women–and Finola is one of them. This suited her svelte frame nicely.

Loosely curled tresses and an assortment of edgy black-and-white diamond jewelry helped complete her evening look.

On Saturday night, the stars of daytime television hit the red carpet at the Beverly Hilton Hotel to attend the 39th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards.

The ladies of your favorite soaps stepped out to flaunt their figures, and let’s face it — perfect hair — in glamorous gowns! Amongst the crowd were actresses from your current favorite shows and some familiar faces from “All My Children” and “One Life to Live”. Those long-running beloved soaps sadly went off the air last year.
