Blake Lively in Elie Saab | Gaga’s Workshop at Barneys New York Opening

What a world of difference! I was completely let down by Blake Lively this weekend at the "Gossip Girl" 100th episode party, but she bounced back tonight when she attended Gaga's Workshop in Elie Saab! The 24-year-old actress arrived at Barneys New York to celebrate wearing a cobalt blue single button shawl lapel suit with lace details at the shoulder from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Mr. Saab. I'm obsessed with pant suits, and I love the feminine style of this cut, color, and lacy details. I think this looked great on Blake, so I'm going try and ignore the wrinkling at opening between the lapels. She definitely had 'the girls' on display, but because this is the style of the suit -- and actually showing less cleavage than usual for her -- I'm okay with this.

Lady Gaga arrived at Barneys New York tonight in NYC for the grand opening of Gaga's Workship, and posted with CEO Mark Lee and Creative Director Dennis Freedman wearing a custom CHANEL gown by Karl Lagerfeld. Mother Monster actually took over the the world's most famous department store on Madison Avenue for the holidays and it all kicked off tonight! As you enter to shop Gaga memorbilla; including spiked gloves, flaming press-on nails, lollipops, tea cups, cookies, keychains, and more -- you'll be greeted with... more Gaga. There are artistic designs representing the 25-year-old entertainer all over the inside of the store and the outside. From sculptures, to lighting fixtures, and of course -- the store windows. It reminded me of something straight out of a Tim Burton movie meets Henry Selick's "James and the Giant Peach" when I saw it. Especially the giant spider replica of her and the inflatable claw. You'll have to go into the city to check it out this holiday season. Back to fashion.
