Stacy Keibler in Armani Privé | 2013 Golden Globes

WHO: Stacy Keibler
WHERE & WHEN: 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 13, 2013.
WEARING: Armani Privé

MY VERDICT: Stacy obviously attended the Globes last night as the date of George Glooney, but that didn’t stop her from upstaging several other ladies in her gorgeous strapless black velvet Armani Privé gown with metallic spaced stripes.  I would say that the statuesque 33-year-old appeared like she stepped right off the runway, but she looked better than the model!  There was a simplicity to this as Stacy didn’t wear overwhelming jewelry or do much with her hair;  simply sleek tresses, diamond earrings and a black clutch helped her complete one stunner of a look.

FYI: George is also wearing Armani.

Who would have thought that George Clooney’s date would show up half the ladies last night at the 84th Annual Academy Awards? I didn’t — but it certainly happened.

Stacy Keibler looked like a major movie star herself in her gorgeous metallic gold satin gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Marchesa. The gathering, the draping strap, the large rosette detail at her hip — all of these magnificent details made her a shoe-in for ‘Best Dressed’ lists all over. | continue reading..

Wearing the boldest color on the red carpet at the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards cocktail reception last night was 20-year-old Shailene Woodley from “The Descendants”.

Shailene joined her co-stars George Clooney and Nick Krause at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland wearing a lacy ruffled cap-sleeve gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Valentino| continue reading..

2011 Style Verdicts: Red Carpet Moments – Male Suspects

2011 Style Verdicts: Red Carpet Moments - Male SuspectsIt isn’t always about the dresses or the shoes when it comes to looking your best on the red carpet — it’s also not always about the ladies. I’m constantly gushing about my love of menswear — and thanks to the following fellas — I got my fill of some great red carpet suits and well-groomed men this year.

10. Douglas Booth
Model, and upcoming star of the “Romeo and Juliet” movie, Douglas Booth was a favorite of mine this year. He’s always been slightly on my radar, but he really caught my eye when he attended the EvianVIP Suite at Wimbledon this past summer brightening up black jeans and a white tee with a pinstripe bright kelly green blazer. I love a man in color.

He played it a bit neutral later on for the Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2012 fashion show in London. He, once again, wore black jeans and a low neck white tee –but, this time he dressed it up with a nice textured tan blazer cuffed to show off the white pinstripe interior detail. I love his choice of footwear! The brown and beige in his lace-ups made it all worthwhile. | continue reading..

Shailene Woodley in Christian Dior | 2011 London Film Festival Premiere – “The Descendants”

Shailene Woodley in Christian Dior | 'The Descendants' London Film Festival Premiere

You may be familiar with Shailene Woodley as the lead actress from ABC Family’s “The Secret Life of the American Teenager”, but she also appears in the film “The Descendants” with George Clooney which had its premiere during the 55th BFI London Film Festival at Odeon Leicester Square tonight.

I wasn’t expecting this so Shailene shocked me by wearing a pretty ruffled strapless pale pink and blue cocktail dress with an embroidered floral bodice featuring pearl embellishments from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Christian Dior. Unlike many actresses that decide on a simple pump, she even wore the matching epic high suede platform sandals with little bows fastened to the t-strap from the collection.

I want this post to be about me gushing over her Dior, but I just can not get passed the fact that she did absolutely nothing with her hair. It looks like she had it in a bun while she got her makeup done, let it loose while leaving it alone in all its bun-indented glory. This would had been a great look if her hair was fixed.

Ryan Gosling in Gucci | “The Ides of March” Premiere

Ryan Gosling in Gucci | 'The Ides of March' Premiere

Sigh, I love a well-dressed man.

Ryan Gosling arrived at the premiere of “The Ides of March” last night in Beverly Hills looking extra dapper in a gorgeous olive green satin finish two-button suit with front flap pockets by Gucci. There’s something about a man in suit of a non-standard black, brown, grey, or navy that really does it for me. I wish more actors would take some chances on the red carpet like Ryan — who seems to always be on point.

As if the color wasn’t enough to make the whole look worth it, the two shades darker silk tie featuring diagonal stripes in shades of green was like the cream-cheese frosting on a red velvet cake. Simply yummy.

I don’t understand why Ryan walked with his hands in his pockets as it caused his pants to bunch and wrinkle. I guess he was just totally at ease since he looked good and he knew it. Ryan posed on the carpet with his co-star George Clooney who looked dashing in a double-button dark suit with an open collar black shirt.
