The end of “Gossip Girl” is near, so Leighton Meester took to “Live! with Kelly and Michael” this week to promote the final season!

Taking a break from filming, the 26-year-old actress arrived at ABC Studios in New York City bright and early on Tuesday morning looking lovely in a ivory, black and rusted orange colorblock wool dress by Giambattista Valli ($2,003, net-a-porter.com).

Filming for the final season of “Gossip Girl” has been well underway since the middle of the summer, and while most good things must come to an end, one thing will always remain — and that’s finding cute new things to add to your wardrobe.

Michelle Tractenberg was spotted heading to set on August 23rd looking cute in a vintage Union Made burnout t-shirt, trendy red skinny jeans, black slingback sandals and a pair of oversize shades to block her eyes from the sun and her attention from the daily crowd of photogs.

Not only am I digging Michelle’s super sleek and pristine ponytail, but I couldn’t divert my eyes from her pretty necklace and funky handbag. The 26-year-old carried a suede “Little Sunny” top-handle handbag from Zadig & Volatire, which would go with just about anything so I’m loving this multi-zippered piece for fall.

As for her necklace, Michelle dressed up her casual ensemble with a beautiful “Abbot” necklace by Charme Silkiner. This beauty is made with 18k sliced gold druzzy and blue crystals. It comes from the forthcoming Holiday 2012 collection and will retail for a cool $248 USD. Yes, it’s totally affordable. Score!

The sixth and final season of “Gossip Girl” premieres on October 8th only on The CW.

Michelle Trachtenberg opted for a lacy black strapless cocktail dress by Rebecca Taylor last Sunday when she attended the 2012 Lucille Lortel Awards in NYC.

The “Gossip Girl” actress wore her long dark hair up which showcased her bare shoulders and the delicate lace detailing peeking out from the top of her bodice.

Michelle kept her accessories color-coordinated by opting for black patent Dolce & Gabbana pumps, an oversized silver metallic Carlos Falchi clutch and a matching statement necklace.

I feel like the necklace and bag are a bit out of place even though they match each other. Her dress doesn’t stand out as much as I would like for it to because of the distracting elements.

She finished her look with a pretty pink pout and dramatic smokey eyes.

Eek! What happened to Leighton Meester?

The “Gossip Girl” actress came out for the opening of the “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibit for this year’s MET Gala wearing a breathtaking Marchesa dress, but something was up with her skin.

Leighton’s hair is on the lighter side now and she’s wearing a golden lace gown… both things totally enhance — and work against — the fact that she is so overly spray-tanned. She literally looks orange!

The 26-year-old actress stepped out on the red carpet wearing a black version of a pretty lace cocktail dress, with a full tulle embroidered skirt, from the Fall 2011 Bridal collection by Marchesa.
