Blake Lively came out to Skylight SOHO  in support of Jason Wu‘s exclusive collection for Target at his launch fête in NYC tonight. She partied the night away with Jason and her “Hick” co-star Chloe Moretz!

While many celeb attendees wore looks from the upcoming collection, the “Gossip Girl” actress opted for a dress from his Spring/Summer 2012 collection. You may remember seeing this dress, featuring a black top and an ivory peplum skirt embellished with black Swarovski crystals, on Michelle Williams recently — but Blake’s version was reversed in color.

I think Blake Lively should share her closet with me. I feel like whenever I see something on the runway, or just in general, that I immediately fall in love with — Blake ends up wearing it. It doesn’t matter if it’s a dress, a pair of shoes, a handbag, or even a friggen’ scarf.

When it came to her appearance at the grand opening of the Apple Store at Grand Central Station on Friday — it was her coat.

The 24-year-old “Gossip Girl” actress threw her long blonde locks into a high ponytail, and slipped on a pair of black leggings so she could tuck them into her super high cognac leather ankle boots. Why the need for such toned down pieces? She had to show off her to-die-for embellished mustard trench coat from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Burberry Prorsum.

I mean, really, how can you not fall in love with the stunning turquoise, blue, peach, orange, and red beaded embroidered detail falling like a cape around the top of this jacket?

Gorgeous.

When Chloe Moretz arrived at Cipriani Wall Street in NYC on Saturday night for the “Gossip Girl” 100th episode celebration, she proved to me that she can dress like a young teen!

Chloe looked adorable in a mixed pattern short sleeve green, blue, black, and white mini dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Stella McCartney.

On Saturday night, Blake Lively arrived at Cipriani Wall Street — where the red carpet event for the “Gossip Girl” 100th episode party was being held — wearing a mystical embroidered fringe cocktail dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Marchesa.

There’s no doubt about it — this dress is not only head-turning, it’s completely creative. Unfortunately, that doesn’t make me a fan of it on Blake.

Between the revealing cutout details in the design and the layers of pale pink fringe, I just don’t feel like it translated from the catwalk to the red carpet well on her. Although, I imagine this would be incredible for a high fashion editorial. | continue reading..

These days networks get really excited about promoting a show only to cancel it after five episodes. It’s not easy to make it to one hundred episodes, so when a show does — it’s usually a big deal.

When it’s a fashionable show like “Gossip Girl” and filmed in New York City, you can best believe there will be red carpet arrivals for this fête!

For a special night, Leighton Meester wore a special dress. The brunette beauty arrived at Cipriani Wall Street in an off-white strapless gathered silk Balmain dress from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection that wasn’t shown on the catwalk! A similar gown style was seen in black during the Resort 2012 presentation.

Looks like “Gossip Girl” star Blake Lively is also a member of the Versace for H&M celeb fan club! The 24-year-old actress may have been one of the last on the black carpet at H&M on the Hudson for the fashion show on Tuesday night — but she definitely made an entrance.

While mostly everyone else was donned in a piece from the collection, Blake opted for a look from the Versace Resort 2012 collection — a white and black studded mini dress.

In New York City it’s not really the right weather for a dress like this, but it didn’t stop Blake. She ‘warmed up’ the look with a black satin lapel blazer, tights, and Christian Louboutin “Fastissima” suede v-cut opening ankle boots.

I actually like how she toned it down a bit for this, she looks great. I think there’s a bit too much of a visual in regards to her décolletage, but this was a major upgrade from her most recent look.

She added a pop of color in the form of gorgeous green earrings and a matching ring. | continue reading..
