Taylor Swift co-hosted the GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live! on Wednesday wearing a dress that only Taylor Swift could pull off.

The 22-year-old “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer hit the black carpet at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville for the concert wearing a ladylike long-sleeved ivory full floral lace “Sienna” dress by Maria Lucia Hohan. This Spring 2013 fit-and-flare design features a crew-neck and a full, flirty skirt. I think it’s really pretty, but I don’t believe it works for everyone.

Lady Gaga brought the house down last night at the Grammy Nominations Concert Live held at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, California.

Gaga opened the show with a high energy performance of her latest single, “Marry The Night”, off her album “Born This Way”. Her skeleton make-up reminded me of Zombie Boy who starred in the music video for her album title track single.

After being announced for three GRAMMY nominations during the show, Gaga returned to the stage for a powerhouse performance with Sugarland. Mother Monster and Jennifer Nettles killed it with a duet of the country tone “You and I”, Gaga’s previous single.

During the performance — which closed out the telecast — Gaga sat at her grand piano with “Panda eye” make-up and clad in a shiny onyx one shouldered gown designed by Carolina Herrera. | continue reading..

The Grammy Awards aren’t until February, but that doesn’t mean the nominees can’t be announced in a truly musical environment… a concert!

Katy Perry took to the stage last night at the Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles, California last night to announce the “Album of the Year” nominations. The 27-year-old “The One That Got Away” singer looked very ladylike in a pretty lace strapless gown by Dolce&Gabbana.

She often dons some pretty outrageous dresses, but she obviously cleans up very well. The dress enhanced her natural curves, but also looked really, really good with her fading pink hair.

You’d think it would clash, but I’ve noticed that — unless she’s wearing black, silver or white — the pink hair looks best on her if she’s wearing something close in shade.

Her hair was styled up with a long stray curled piece up front. She kept her favorite color going with a fuchsia lip color, and wore large diamond drop earrings with a matching bracelet.
