Mireille Enos in Emilio Pucci | “Gangster Squad” Hollywood Premiere

WHO: Mireille Enos
WHERE & WHEN: “Gangster Squad” premiere at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on January 7, 2013.
WEARING: Emilio Pucci Fall/Winter 2012 dress and a Swarovski clutch and jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Mireille looked beautiful on the red carpet last night in her long sleeve white silk Pucci dress.  I’ve been a fan of the edgy slashed design from the Fall 2012 collection since day one, but I had wondered what had taken so long to see them on the red carpet.  I like how she brought some elegance to the daring style with Old Hollywood curls and scarlet lips, but perhaps a sleeker mane was needed considering the crewneck of the dress.  My favorite details from the look included her silver iguana “Rita” barrel clutch and oval crystal “Tamia” cocktail ring—both from Swarovski. | continue reading..

WEARING: Lanvin Pre-Fall 2013 dress and jewelry with Christian Louboutin shoes.

MY VERDICT: Wow, Emma looks fantastic! I’m a huge fan of color, but it’s rare that I like this much of one bright shade—however, I’m loving this red! | continue reading..

Megan Fox in Roland Mouret | “This Is 40″ Hollywood Premiere

Megan Fox flaunted her fabulous post-baby bod on the scarlet red carpet last night for the Hollywood premiere of her new movie “This Is 40″ wearing the hottest color of the season—oxblood.

The 26-year-old actress looked amazing in her long sleeve Roland Mouret cocktail dress. I loved all the little nips along the waist and hips, but that open drape v-cut neckline is perfection. This dress looked fantastic with Megan’s ‘hot mama’ figure, and it allowed for her to really play with accessories; it’s pretty obvious she took full advantage of that.

Megan slipped on a fierce pair of spike-embellished black monochrome Christian Louboutin “Pigalle” pumps; my favorite take on the classic Loubie shape! She carried a snakeskin knot intrecciato Bottega Veneta clutch before adding some contrast color to her look with gold trim multicolored drop earrings by Jennifer Meyer. | continue reading..

Leslie Mann in Vionnet | “This Is 40″ Hollywood Premiere

Leslie Mann wore a beautiful colorblock gown last night for the Hollywood premiere of “This Is 40″!

The 40-year-old actress, who stars opposite Paul Rudd in the film, slipped into a lovely floor-length white silk Vionnet dress with an open drape neckline that framed a pretty orange speckled v-cut panel at the center while a black band defined her waist.

What a unique style—I love it. I think it’s cool that Leslie tried to mix it up by pairing her dress with black fishnet “Pigalle” pumps by Christian Louboutin, but those shoes look so uncomfortable, right?  Between the fun dress and funky heels, it seems like Leslie was in a playful mood last night.  | continue reading..

Teresa Palmer wore gorgeous garnet red when she hit the scarlet rug at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on Thursday night for the Hollywood premiere of “Lincoln”, held during the 2012 AFI Fest.

The beautiful Australian actress opted for this Resort 2013 satin detailed crepe long-sleeve cocktail dress by Zac Posen, which featured an angled open sweetheart neckline, split sleeves and knee-length hem. Teresa must really love this dress as she tweeted a picture of her wearing it several days ago for another event. | continue reading..

Christina Hendricks in L’Wren Scott | “Ginger and Rosa” Special Screening: AFI FEST 2012

In a sea of maxi dresses and colorful mini patterns, Christina Hendricks was probably my favorite lady on the red carpet last night for the AFI FEST 2012 special screening of “Ginger and Rosa” while donned in a glittering L’Wren Scott dress.

The 37-year-old actress flaunted her famous voluptuous curves in a sexy cap-sleeve black sequined knee-length cocktail dress with a square neckline that, I think, fit Christina perfectly. Because she is so blessed in the bust, I can imagine that it’s difficult to find dresses that fit her comfortably without looking overtly sexy. | continue reading..

Alice Englert joined her “Ginger and Rosa” costar Elle Fanning on the red carpet last night for a special screening of the film, held during the Audi-sponsored AFI FEST 2012 at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre.

If Alice’s dress looks familiar to you—it may be because Kirsten Dunst wore the same red-and-pink gingham square neck maxi dress by Louis Vuitton earlier this year. This flirty summer style comes from the Resort 2013 collection, designed by Marc Jacobs. | continue reading..

Elle Fanning in Oscar de la Renta | “Ginger and Rosa” Special Screening: AFI Fest 2012

Elle Fanning is always fun to watch for on the red carpet, because you never really know what you’re going to get.

Last night, the 14-year-old actress wore Oscar de la Renta as she joined her costars Christina Hendricks and Alice Englert at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre for the AFI FEST 2012 special screening of their movie “Ginger and Rosa”. Elle has been traveling all over the globe promoting the film, but this marked the second major event in the U.S.

Elle arrived in a minty green and white strapless capri stripe silk faille full length gown, from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection. As someone who always seems to be treating the red carpet as the location for her fashion learning experiences; we’ve seen some very questionable looks, but there have also been many surprisingly stylish moments from Elle as well. | continue reading..

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior | “Rust and Bone” Gala Premiere: AFI Fest 2012

Marion Cotillard in Christian Dior | 'Rust and Bone' Gala Premiere: AFI Fest 2012Photos: Zimbio
What is with all the intensely bold looks at the AFI FEST this year?!

First Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Bella Heathcote set the AFI style train in motion, Kristen Stewart turned up the heat with a daring crop top, and now, Marion Cotillard broke out a Christian Dior cut-out, split skirt, pocket dress that must have required triple takes from press when she made her way down the red carpet last night for the gala premiere of “Rust and Bone”.

The beautiful French actress arrived at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood wearing a very unique black-and-white Raf Simons design. Marion’s dress looks like a black strapless micro-mini with a off-white halterneck gown layered over it with cutouts all over. I haven’t seen anything remotely like this on the red carpet in a long while. | continue reading..

Garrett Hedlund in Prada | “On The Road” Gala Screening: AFI Fest 2012

Garrett Hedlund looked quite dapper on the scarlet red rug last night when he joined his “On The Road” costars Amy Adams, Kristen Stewart and composer Gustavo Santaolalla at the AFI FEST 2012 gala screening of the Walter Salles-directed film. The movie, which is set during ‘the beat generation’, is adapted from the beloved largely autobiographical novel by Jack Kerouac.

The 28-year-old actor wore a navy saflia-check two button suit by Prada, which he sadly left unbuttoned, and it had this great luxurious shine to it without being glossy. | continue reading..
