MY VERDICT: Stana was the picture of minimalism perfection when she hit Hollywood for the season three premiere of HBO’s hit series “Game Of Thrones”.  The 34-year-old actress showed off her long toned gams in a short black leather “Paula” mini skirt from Alpinestars by Denise Focil that she partnered with a comfy black short sleeve T by Alexander Wang t-shirt.  I like the simplicity of this being understated and cool, and also very wearable off the red carpet for anyone who has the legs to work it.

WHERE & WHEN: “Beyoncé: Life Is But A Dream” HBO Documentary New York premiere on February 12, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Beyoncé made New York City sparkle when she glided gown the red carpet for the big city premiere of her new HBO Documentary “Life Is But A Dream” wearing a stunning Elie Saab dress.  The singer selected the breathtaking, form-fitting greige embellished gown with fine floral appliqués from the Spring/Summer 2012 Haute Couture line.  This was one of my top favorite collections from Mr. Saab as it featured a true colorful spring vibe in one glittering design after another; I was particularly thrilled to see this beauty step off the runway.  Leave it up to Bey to break out a dress with sheer illusion cutouts all over the bodice!

I wonder if this was always her intended choice for the premiere, or if it was an option for the Grammys?

It’s clearly against that issued dress code, so maybe that’s why we didn’t see it on Mrs. Carter earlier.

She finished her look with super sleek tresses and a glossy candy pink pout.

WHERE & WHEN: HBO’s “Girls” Season 2 New York Premiere on January 9, 2013.
WEARING: Valentino

MY VERDICT: Lena joined her “Girls” costars for the red carpet celebration of their second season in NYC where she opted for an on-trend jumpsuit by Valentino. The 26-year-old actress rocked the strapless black tuxedo one piece with tech suiting, slim fitting legs, and a white contrast band across the top of the bodice that transforms into a dramatic oversize bow at the back. I’m a big fan of jumpsuits, and this is has been one of my favorites since I saw Gwyneth Paltrow wear it at her 40th birthday party last year.

I think the style suits Lena’s laid-back and cool personality, but I don’t think this jumpsuit was her best choice. It was ill-fitting from start to finish and seemed to appear uncomfortable. This is supposed to have a slouchy appearance, but it’s too loose in some areas and the opposite in others here. Sometimes it’s not about what you’re wearing, but how you’re wearing it–and if it doesn’t look like it fits, it’s definitely not going to highlight you in the best way.

Light makeup and a perfectly unkempt pixie finished Lena’s premiere look.

Olivia Munn ‘let it all hang out’ on Sunday night when she arrived to celebrate the Emmys at HBO’s annual post reception held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

The 32-year-old actress wore a one-of-a-kind black satin dress from Armani Privé that fell at the ankles and featured a plunging, wide neckline. Although it included a mesh inset to hold the dress together, nothing could really hide the nearly full view of Olivia’s cleavage. Umm… was it too much?

Olivia completed her party look with sleek tresses, Giorgio Armani black bow appliqué peep toe pumps, a crystal-encrusted Judith Leiber clutch and jewelry from Neil Lane — including a 20kt platinum and diamond necklace.

HATE IT or LOVE IT?

Ashlee Simpson looked beautiful on Sunday night when she attended HBO’s Annual Emmy Awards Post Awards Reception in West Hollywood wearing a delicate embellished dress.

The 27-year-old singer/actress arrived at the Pacific Design Center wearing a pretty ivory embroidered tulle gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Temperley London, which featured faceted crystals, beads and petal appliqués. You may remember Katy Perry taking a liking to this very same gown this past Spring, but I found it to be a much more flattering fit on Ashlee’s svelte frame.

With her blonde hair gathered up only to leave a cool asymmetric swept bang in the front, Ashlee finished off her party look with an arm cuff, a statement ring with matching earrings, dark smoky eyes and a metallic clutch.

Jamie-Lynn Siger looked glamorous in coral when she hit the patterned carpet on Sunday night for HBO’s Annual Emmy Awards Post Awards Reception, which was held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

The “Guys with Kids” star wore a strapless silk-chiffon gown from the Resort 2012 collection by Monique Lhuillier, which featured shades of pink and lilac blended into the coral color thanks to a glorious ombré effect.

Though her jewelry was very complimenting, the white bag was a bit distracting from the dress.
She finished off her look with a full loose mane and a nude pout.

The 29-year-old actress was joined by her costar and husband Stephen Moyer; the two are expecting their first child together.

The 30-year-old actress selected this short sleeve black dress with a patent leather trimmed asymmetric opening at the neckline, as well as the side of her pencil cut skirt.

The shiny borders, also featured at the waist, were embellished with tiny studs..
