MY VERDICT: After donning a shocking pink mini at the MET ball earlier in the week, Kate opted for a more subdued shade at the special Hollywood screening of her new movie “Black Rock”. The 30-year-old actress arrived at the ArcLight Hollywood theater wearing a Miu Miu ivory and slate blue godet skirted dress, which featured an exquisite pearl and crystal embroidered sleeveless bodice. The intense flounce skirt both flattered and lengthened Kate’s lithe shape, which is refreshing since this style has the tendency to truncate or add unnecessary width to teh body.

With a sleek low ponytail and a pop of punchy red on her pout, Kate finished off the look with a pair of silver leather décolleté pumps and a python clutch–both from Prada.

MY VERDICT: Chelsea stood out at the red and gold themed Hollywood premiere of “Iron Man 3″ when she hit the scarlet carpet wearing a shimmering yellow cocktail dress. The “Baby Daddy” actress selected the “Taryn” beaded cap sleeve fitted dress from the Spring 2013 collection by Alice + Olivia. I’m a tad bit obsessed with this dress because A) it’s sparkles–so, duh, B) the knee length design is practically the most flattering cut for a woman, and C) the shade of yellow is so pretty.

I’m not surprised that this dress has become a celebrity favorite; you may remember Vanessa Hudgens rocking it on “The Tonight Show” last month. It was a great choice for Chelsea, and it helps that her angled swept bob haircut suits her dress perfectly. My only qualm is that she had worn a better shoe. She didn’t need anything distracting, but the nude pointed toe leather pump was kind of boring and office-ready. After seeing this dress with a gold sandal and printed fun (pictured on model)–I was let down.

A Doves by Doron Paloma yellow gold quartz and diamond ring and Kabana diamond and opal earrings completed her look.

MY VERDICT: Providing a pretty balance of “sweet” and “rebellious”, the 19-year-old “Jessie” star hit the red carpet for the “Iron Man 3″ premiere wearing a strapless OSMAN cocktail dress with a black leather bodice and a cream skirt completely embroidered with shimmering gold detailing, from designer Osman Yousefzada’s Spring 2013 collection. Not only was the dress a perfect fit on Debby’s figure, but I like that she kept her neckline practically bare–with the exception of a dainty gold necklace–and wore her long ginger tresses up in a loosely twisted style. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: PYou can always count on Bella Thorne to have fun with her red carpet look. The “Shake It Up” actress pulled out all the stops when she attended the Hollywood premiere of “Iron Man 3″ wearing a bold retro Spring 2013 coral and white floral puffed sleeve crop top and peplum long skirt by Katie Ermilio. That was bold all on its own, but Bella added to the unique vibe by layering on a multicolored stone statement bib necklace by DANNIJO and twisting her long ginger locks up into a trendy top knot. | continue reading..

WHO: Elodie Yung
WHERE & WHEN: “G.I.Joe: Retaliation” Hollywood premiere on March 28, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Elodie joined Adrianne Palicki last night for the Hollywood premiere of “G.I.Joe: Retaliation” where she took a step into the spring season wearing a voluminous sea green Chanel dress, from the Cruise Versailles 2013 collection.  Just a few months ago, we saw Astrid Bergès-Frisbey don this flirty silk-chiffon angled ruffle cocktail dress—but, both ladies passed on the brilliant gemstone jewelry originally presented with the design.

At least Astrid tried to make up for it with silver sandals, but Elodie paired her dress with a simple bracelet and pale blush suede open toe pumps.  The accessories were nice, but really boring. Too boring for this dress. I really wish she had incorporated some multicolored jewels–at least at the neckline. She didn’t really do much with her hair either.

In the end–Elodie is a beautiful girl wearing a fun dress, but this fashion moment was definitely lackluster.

WHERE & WHEN: “G.I.Joe: Retaliation” Hollywood premiere on March 28, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Adrianne dazzled her way down the black carpet for the premiere of “G.I.Joe: Retaliation” wearing a gorgeous Reem Acra nude cap-sleeve gown with gold sequin detail. I’ve had my eye on this beautiful Spring 2013 design for awhile now, so it was nice to see someone take it out for a spin at a glamorous Hollywood event.  I want to say that I love this on her, but the obvious is so distracting.   Because of the plunging neckline, it’s clear that if you have a full bust-line you’re going to have some cleavage but there was too much going on with Adrianne.  Taking the makings of a wardrobe malfunction out of it, which is hard to do, I really would have liked this dress to be a stunning fit on her because she looks so pretty and the dress is gorgeous.

She accessorized well with simple gold jewelry, matching strappy sandals and a Daniel Swarovski‘s rectangular gold crystal “Lana” box clutch. Adrianne finished off her glimmering gold ensemble with partially gathered curly tresses and perfect makeup.

WHERE & WHEN: HBO’s “Game Of Thrones” Season 3 Premiere on March 18, 2013.
WEARING: T by Alexander Wang t-shirt, Alpinestars by Denise Focil skirt, Jimmy Choo shoes, Jill Milan clutch, and jewelry from Killer Collection, Elodie K, Dana Faith, Melinda Maria & Elahn.

MY VERDICT: Stana was the picture of minimalism perfection when she hit Hollywood for the season three premiere of HBO’s hit series “Game Of Thrones”.  The 34-year-old actress showed off her long toned gams in a short black leather “Paula” mini skirt from Alpinestars by Denise Focil that she partnered with a comfy black short sleeve T by Alexander Wang t-shirt.  I like the simplicity of this being understated and cool, and also very wearable off the red carpet for anyone who has the legs to work it.

Stana topped off her outfit by keeping up the monochrome vibe with suede “Anouk” pumps by Jimmy Choo. | continue reading..

WHO: Cobie Smulders
WHERE & WHEN: 1st Annual Norma Jean Gala on March 20, 2013.

MY VERDICT: Talk about a hot way to add a splash of color!  Cobie was ever so chic on the blue carpet for the 1st annual Norma Jean Gala wearing a slim cap sleeve ivory crepe cocktail dress by Bibhu Mohapatra that featured an intense scarlet clef insert.  I really love how the fabric hugged the “How I Met Your Mother” star, it was a much better fit on her figure than the runway model during the Fall/Winter 2012 presentation.

I wouldn’t normally envision a nearly full white dress working with matching shoes unless it was on a bride, but somehow Cobie not only pulled it off, but she makes it look totally effortless and wearable.  | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: The adorable Alexandra eased into the still-going-strong crop top trend by playing peek-a-boo with a magenta dress by Jay Godfrey. The 27-year-old actress walked the teal carpet in this Pre-Fall 2013 flirty textured design, which featured a center cutout with structured detail on the mini skirt.  I thought this was such a fun style for her, and I really like that she didn’t go overboard with intense makeup, hair and accessories.  Alexandra kept it all about the pop of color by rocking simple–but sassy–black t-strap Pollini sandals, a “Agostino” ring by Marina B in 18k gold, diamonds and black jade, and long gold earrings.

Simple soft waves and a glossy pink pout topped this look off.

WHO: Max Irons
WHERE & WHEN: “The Host” Hollywood Premiere on March 19, 2013.
WEARING: Gucci suit, Christian Louboutin shoes

MY VERDICT: Sometimes staying classic is simply the way to go, and that’s what Max Irons did for the Hollywood premiere of “The Host”. The English actor stepped out on the turquoise carpet wearing a two-button black Gucci suit with a pale button-down shirt and a moody blue-steel grey silk tie. I like the simplicity of this, but I wish you couldn’t see so much of his shirt and tie at the lower button opening. It might just be the pull from his hand being in his pocket, but it’s distracting.

Max gave his hair a finger-twisted style, before finishing off with a nice pair of sleek Christian Louboutin black patent shoes.
