Rose McGowan was among the attendees at last week’s Cinema Against AIDS gala thrown by amfAR during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival in Cap D’Antibes, France.

The “Conan the Barbarian” actress arrived at Hotel Dup Cap wearing a bright bubblegum pink gown from the Fall 2010 Atelier Versace collection that was contoured with pink sequin paillette straps.

Natasha Poly wore another Emilio Pucci gown during the Cannes Film Festival last week. While she opted for a strapless hot number on Wednesday for the “Hot Motors” premiere, the 26-year-old model sparkled in a Fall 2012 long-sleeve dress when she attended amfAR’s annual Cinema Against AIDS gala the following night.

Lindsey Wixson walked in the fashion show during amfAR’s annual Cinema Against AIDS gala on Thursday night. The soirée was held during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival at Hotel Du Cap in Cap D’Antibes, France.

The 18-year-old model arrived on the grey carpet in a glorious fully sequined black paneled gown from the Spring 2012 haute couture collection by Giambattista Valli, with lace long sleeves and insets all over.

Seriously, this dress is amazing — and one of my favorites from the collection!

Lindsey pulled it off and gave it a extra-chic finish with a sleek ponytail and dramatic smokey eyes.

Well, this is just upsetting.

Janet Jackson is usually such a force on the red carpet. I love her style; she’s a Jackson so naturally, she’s talented at most things — including fashion. Unfortunately, Janet’s look at amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS annual gala this year totally falls under her “questionable choices” category.

This Fall 2012 halterneck Emilio Pucci white gown could have been a knockout on the singer, but that plunging split in the neckline is beyond unattractive. It’s slouchy, ill-fitting and not a great way to display your décolletage. | continue reading..

Heidi Klum changed out of her Spring 2012 fringed gown on Thursday before slipping into another Marchesa design — this time from Fall 2012 — when she attended amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS annual gala.

The 38-year-old worked this sheer illusion layered gown with sequin and beaded embellishing like only a model could.

I was a bit apprehensive about someone wearing this because, let’s face it, it’s quite dangerous. Thankfully, Heidi looked beautiful and the beading covered up all her personal areas.

I just wish she had worn the necklace seen on the model and left her hair out.

Heidi finished off with strappy silver sandals.

Heidi Klum looked incredible in a black sequin-embellished, plunging v-neck gown from the Fall 2012 collection by Roberto Cavalli when she attended the de Grisogono Party during the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

You may remember seeing Karolina Kurkova in a similar dress earlier this week for the “Killing Them Softly” premiere.

This off-runway design still features the sexy black leather belted trim at the neckline, but the dress is a much sleeker cut than what is mainly featured in the collection. | continue reading..

Enjoying her time in Cannes while awaiting Friday night’s premiere of “Cosmopolis”, Sarah Gadon spent Monday evening at the IWC Filmmakers Dinner with director David Cronenberg (not pictured).

Sarah arrived at Hotel Du Cap wearing a black embroidered cocktail dress from the Spring 2012 collection by Fendi, with spread embellished straps and a swirling design on the bodice as well as the skirt.

This is the second dress from Fendi that Sarah has worn while in Cannes; she also attended the premiere of “Antiviral” in a long design from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection last week.

She looked lovely as usual, but I kind of wish she had worn a pair of Fendi pumps without a platform. Sarah selected the bow-enriched, black patent open toe platform pumps.

Sarah’s look was complete with an up ‘do and a glossy red pout.

I kinda, sort of — pretty much — waited all afternoon to see Nina Dobrev at amfAR’s Cinema Against AIDS gala in France today, but boy was she worth the wait!

Nina played up her caramel complexion with a regal blue, off-the-shoulder, fully sequined gown from the Spring 2012 collection by Elie Saab that featured a sexy side slit.

This was perfect for showing off Nina’s silver mirrored “Lance” sandals from Jimmy Choo!

I mean, really, how amazing does she look? This was the first time at the annual fête for the 23-year-old star of “The Vampire Diaries”, but you’d think she was an old pro. It’s interesting how far Nina has come in the styling game. She seems to have a better idea of what works for her body and height — and she’s working it. | continue reading..

After a brief trip to Monaco last night for a fundraiser, Diane Kruger was back for another fabulous fashion moment during the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.

Diane joined Josh Jackson at amfAR’s annual Cinema Against AIDS gala in a newly debuted tea-cup dress from the Resort 2013 collection by Chanel. This is the second Resort 2013 dress that Diane has worn since being in Cannes!

Milla Jovovich wore her second Atelier Versace gown this week when she attended the annual Cinema Against AIDS gala hosted by amfAR this evening in France!

The 36-year-old actress arrived wearing a Spring 2012 metallic strapless gown in shades of gold and silver. The sexy design featured a molded cup bustier and a graphic tiered, asymmetric peplum on her hip.

Milla, who wore her wavy brown hair up once again, was able to show off her nude satin, platform sandals due to the super high slit in her skirt.

She finished off her look with Swarovski‘s crystal “Sketch” ring and a animal-print gold crystal “Power” clutch.

Do you prefer this Versace gown over the one Milla wore to the Life Ball?
