I think Chloë Moretz might just be my next favorite Proenza girl! I’m becoming such a fan of her style; but I especially love whenever she dons a Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez design.

Last night the 14-year-old “Hugo” actress attended the 2012 People’s Choice Awards wearing a very cool black and green knit dress from the Pre-Fall 2010 collection by Proenza Schouler. I love this dress!

It was young, it was cool, it was stylish – and it was so Chloë.

A chunky platform sandal or an ankle boot would have been a great addition, but I also liked her selection of those deep cut Mary-Jane sandals from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Dolce & Gabbana.

I’m loving the style of Chloe Moretz more and more every time I see her, which says a lot considering I use to not be a fan at all.

Last night the 15-year-old “Hugo” actress attended the 2011 National Board of Review Awards at Cipriani 4nd Street in New York City wearing head-to-toe Miu Miu!

The duchesse bright red coat dress with a peter pan collar and voluminous skirt is a gorgeous look, but while I’m excited she added a little belt to define her waist, the top portion looked a little big on her. I hope that’s just the angle because I’ve always loved this look. | continue reading..

Earlier this month, a very stylish Chloe Moretz joined her “Hugo Cabret 3D” co-star Asa Butterfield and their director Martin Scorsese at the French premiere of the film.

The 15-year-old actress, who is currently back in the states after a jet-setting past few months, was regal in a beautiful Chanel Fall 2010 haute couture sheath dress when she arrived at the Cinema UGC Normandie for the grey carpet premiere on December 6th.

Chloe wore a stunning garnet velvet halterneck dress with a banded beige pencil skirt that layered over it. You were still able to see about two inches of the velvet fabric peeking out from the bottom of the skirt. | continue reading..

Either Chloe Moretz is finally working with a stylist, or I need to reevaluate my whole thought process on the selections she makes for herself. As of late, she has been consistent with great looks.

The 14-year-old actress attended the London 3D premiere of her new movie “Hugo” tonight at the Odeon Leicester Square cinema wearing an Emilio Pucci dress.

Chloe has been rocking a lot of lacy pieces this year, but when you compare tonight with her appearance at the “Hick” premiere during the Toronto International Film Festival earlier this season — I much prefer this dress on her.

The calf length added some modesty to the sheer arms and lace details throughout the dress. There was a fun and youthful quality about it with the blouse-style bodice that featured a sequined peter pan collar and four brass buttons at the center. | continue reading..

Chloe Moretz is determined to change my mind about her! For the third consecutive time she’s looking fab!

Last night Chloe was a guest on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to promote her new movie “Hugo”. The fourteen year-old star emerged from the blue curtain dancing in cutest friggin’ outfit!

Chloe wore the black long-sleeve striped collar top and the off-white, black, and orange leather striped shorts with black slant patch pockets from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Proenza Schouler.

Just to add the icing on top — she paired the shorts with black tights and lace-up black suede ankle boots with a chunky wood heel and platform. Double win.

Judging by my past posts, I think it’s pretty obvious that I have a love/hate relationship with Chloe Moretz’s style.

It’s not that what she wears is ever actually bad — it’s just her age. When I was fourteen, it wouldn’t have even been on my radar to think I could get away with wearing what she does. Sheer leather mini dresses? Yeah, no.

With that said — lately she’s been making some very wise and age-appropriate choices that I really love. Her Kenzo and Stella McCartney looks are still at the top of my list, but I can probably add this Dolce&Gabbana dress she wore last night to the NY premiere of “Hugo” at the Ziegfeld Theatre .

I”m not huge on the flat ribbon bows at the bodice — nor the color, as it washes her out — but I love the cut. She looks like a dolled up cupcake! | continue reading..
