Marisa Tomei in Peter Pilotto | British Fashion Council’s “LONDON Show ROOMS LA” Cocktail Party

It’s nice to see the Spring 2012 collection by Peter Pilotto still getting some red carpet love, and that’s exactly what Marisa Tomei was giving when she wore this printed blue dress to the British Fashion Council’s International Showcasing Initiative ‘LONDON Show ROOMS LA’ cocktail soirèe on Monday.

The “Ides of March” actress arrived on the white carpet at Smashbox Studios in West Hollywood rocking the cool design, but I’m really not sure why she played it safe with bone-colored leather Christian Louboutin pumps.

She could have totally went for it with complimenting strappy sandals, but other than that — and her so-so hairstyle), I really liked the dress on her.
