MY VERDICT: Anne added pops of color to brighten up an otherwise dark ensemble this afternoon at the AFI Awards luncheon. The “Les Misèrables” star wore a printed, full skirt dress from the Oscar de la Renta recent pre-autumn collection; a champagne beige base with an intricate floral pattern in deep shades of red and green. Due to the chilly weather, and the fact that the dress is sleeveless, Annie layered on a cute black peplum jacket that matched semi-sheer tights. | continue reading..

Blake Lively could care less that it’s the middle of December and she’s in New York—if she wants to wear a ridiculously short dress…she will. The 25-year-old newlywed actress proved that when she hit the red carpet last night for “12-12-12″ The Concert for Sandy Relief. The master-blaster five hour long concert—with performances by Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Alicia Keys and more, was held at Madison Square Garden to aid the victims of the the destructive hurricane, which hit the Northeast in late October, by benefiting The Robin Hood Relief Fund.

Ali Larter got a little flirty on the black carpet for the 2012 GQ Men of the Year party on Tuesday night when she arrived wearing a super short lace dress.

The 36-year-old actress wore a neutral bone colored long-sleeve lace motif pattern dress by Isabel Marant. I like the dress and I love the way she incorporated a silver glitter confetti Edie Parker “Jean” box clutch, but unfortunately I fail to see the reason for these shoes. KRISTEN STEWART makes her debut on the cover of Vogue UK this month with the October issue!

It’s been an exciting year for the 22-year-old actress. She’s covered two handfuls of fashion magazines in just a few short months, promoted the heck out of her action-packed fairytale flick “Snow White and the Huntsman”, went to the Cannes Film Festival to premiere the Walter Salles-directed “On The Road”, where she stars as the promiscuous teen Marylou, scored a deal as a face of the latest Balenciaga fragrance “Florabotanica”, and this fall, she’ll bring Bella back to the big screen one last time with “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2″ – the ‘epic’ finale of the beloved vampy franchise based off Stephenie Meyer’s hugely successful book series.

Say that 10 times fast!

Kristen reunited with her photographer pal Mario Testino as he shot her for the British cover, the two worked together on her first American Vogue cover last year and more recently for Vanity Fair. She gave her best sultry, pout while rocking a floral ruffle dress by Gucci, deep red lips and red shadow smoky eyes, courtesy of make-up artist James Kaliardos.

Your favorite ladies from today’s hottest primetime shows hit the red carpet last night for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Performers Peer Group Cocktail Reception, which was held in Universal City, California — and they pretty much all wore black.

“Modern Family” star Julie Bowen arrived at the Sheraton Hotel wearing black floral lace dress from French couturier designer Christophe Josse, which featured flounce tiers at the waist and trim around the neckline along with beaded bordering throughout. With her hair gathered up and subtle make-up, Julie simply finished off her look with a dark purple lacquered pedicure that peeked out of her platform black suede Jimmy Choo pumps.

Julie’s costar Sofia Vergara continues to make me feel completely lazy about going to the gym as she struts around in a sassy little dress. The 40-year-old newly engaged actress flaunted her killer bod in a long-sleeve black lace dress with embroidered tasseling at the crossover hemline layer. Malin Akerman arrived at Sony Pictures Studios last night to celebrate the annual Guys Choice Awards hosted by Spike TV.

The 34-year-old actress flaunted a lot of skin in a plunging neck black crepe and satin combo mini dress from Emporio Armani.

Malin played off the fact of the dress being solid by adding the appropriate accessories, makeup and hairstyle to give it some rock ‘n roll edge. She layered on the metallic gold and diamond bracelets before slipping on a pair of Isabel Marant strappy sandals that showed off her dark lacquered manicure.

I love the outfit, though she may have gone a bit too heavy on the eye shadow.

She completed her look with a full blonde mane of springy curls.

In honor of the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival, the French magazine M Le Monde spotlighted the cast of the movie “On The Road” for the cover of their June 2012 issue, lens by Steven Pan!

KRISTEN STEWART, GARRETT HEDLUND and SAM RILEY will all walk the red carpet this year at Cannes for the Walter Salles-directed film, based off the semi-autobiographical novel by author Jack Kerouac, but in the meantime you can see them in this amazing, mostly, black and white editorial.

While Garrett and Sam pose with lit cigarettes hanging from their lips, Kristen strikes a sultry pose with perfectly waved hair and intense makeup, courtesy of hairstylist Giannandrea and make-up artist Jillian Dempsey.
