WHO: Zoe Saldana
WHERE & WHEN: “Star Trek Into Darkness” Mexico City premiere on May 7, 2013.
WEARING: Elie Saab jumpsuit, Charlotte Olympia shoes, Salvatore Ferragamo clutch & Jack Vartanian jewelry.

MY VERDICT: I thought I would be practically in a fashion coma after the MET gala carpet last night, but thankfully my excitement for Zoe Saldana on the red carpet for the Mexico City premiere of “Star Trek Into Darkness” the next night was not dimmed.

She wore a jumpsuit!

By now you should know my major affection for pantsuits, and therefore you’re probably not surprised that Zoe’s white Elie Saab long sleeve jumpsuit is one of my favorite looks from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection. The brilliantly tailored design features a chiffon bodice and a waist-accentuating cummerbund. | continue reading..

Jessica Alba in Erdem, Doo.Ri & ACNE | “LIVE! with Kelly”

I’m going to be straight up honest here and not go with popular opinion — I seriously LOVED Jessica Alba’s brightly colored outfit last week! The 30-year-old actress was in New York City on Tuesday and paid a visit to “LIVE! with Kelly” wearing one of the most interesting looks I’ve seen so far this year.

Jessica wore a vibrant fine-knit cashmere “Lia” sweater by ACNE that brought out one of the flowers in her super-fun “Connelly” floral straight leg trousers by Erdem. | continue reading..

Jennifer Lawrence in Viktor & Rolf | 2012 People’s Choice Awards

Last night marked the beginning of another four years of page-to-film fandemonium when the stars of “The Hunger Games” attended the 2012 People’s Choice Awards at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live.

The heorine of the ‘Games’ is Jennifer Lawrence, her character Katniss Everdeen is known as “the girl on fire”, and the 21-year-old was certainly on fi-ya last night! The former Oscar nominee rocked this black mesh sleeveless dress with blue swirling embroidery from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection by Viktor & Rolf. | continue reading..

Emma Stone in J. Mendel | 2011 National Board of Review Awards

Emma Stone hit the black carpet last night at the 2011 National Board of Review Awards gala in a gorgeous dress from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection by J. Mendel.

The look was obviously shortened for Emma; I was a bit disappointed by that because I loved the design on the model. Obviously with Emma’s tiny frame, she needed a shorter style. Thankfully the altered version was still fabulous. I adore the blocked off plaid detail across the bodice and the pale creamy shades of ivory mixed with yellow and pale grey. | continue reading..

Zoe Saldana hit the star-studded red carpet on Sunday, December 4th, for the annual “Trevor Live!” event hosted by The Trevor Project, a non-profit lifeline organization dedicated to suicide prevention for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth.

After a less-than-stellar look a few days ago, Zoe looked sensational when she arrived at The Hollywood Palladium in this red, black, and white short-sleeve knit dress by Rena Lange.

It was vibrant, fun, and looked super comfortable! It’s an adjustable day-to-night dress; but I think it was great for the event as well.

A fun frock was just step number one in her look. Zoe didn’t wear the ankle strap sandals seen on the model during the Spring/Summer 2012 presentation, but kept in touch with the look. Her feet were clad in a pair of black mesh inset “Vicky Jane” sandals by Christian Louboutin that perfectly matched her “Miss Sartorial” wristlet by Lanvin.

I love her retro up-’do featuring the fame framing loose pieces; she kept this throwback glam style going with intense dark smokey eyes. | continue reading..

Emma Stone in Carven | 2011 American Museum Of Natural History Gala

Emma Stone attended the 2011 American Museum of Natural History gala last night at the American Museum of Natural History in NYC with her “The Amazing Spider-Man” co-star Andrew Garfield (not pictured).

Emma’s in town because she’ll be hosting “Saturday Night Live” tomorrow night — I can’t wait! She always cracks me up.

The 23-year-old actress looked refreshed and vibrant in a maxi coral gown from the Resort 2012 collection by Carven. The dress was originally seen in a printed style that Leighton Meester wore during Fashion’s Night Out this year.

I think Emma breathed new life into the look; I love the shade and it looks fabulous with her fiery red hair.

For the event, Emma selected a pair of  “Filipa” sandals by Tabitha Simmons, a clutch from The Row, and earrings from Jack Vartanian.

Emma Stone in Lanvin | 2011 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards

Emma Stone was the last person I saw on the red carpet at Carnegie Hall in New York City for the 2011 Glamour Women Of The Year last night. But, she was definitely not over-looked.

“The Help” star was donned in a pale mustard-colored silk satin gathered gown from Lanvin‘s Resort 2012 collection.

I’m not sure if her dress is hanging off of her, if it’s a bad angle, or if it’s just supposed to fit loosely in the bust area.

I still like it on her though.

Lanvin can be really tough to translate well from the catwalk to the red carpet, but the outcome was pretty well done for Emma. I much prefer this version of the gown to the ivory seen during the presentation on the model.

I love that it was styled with all Lanvin accessories. I couldn’t imagine wearing any other accessories with this than the layered chain necklace, metallic chain evening bag, and double strap dark beige platform pumps.

Emma’s hair was was pulled back into a chignon with loose pieces to frame her face that was adorned with golden metallic eyes and a shimmery rosy lippe.

Her ring was the only outsider — it’s by Jack Vartanian.

Zoe Saldana in Jason Wu | Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles

Zoe Saldana in Jason Wu | Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic Los Angeles

Zoe Saldana hit the red carpet at Will Rogers State Historic Park to celebrate the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in a beautiful printed Jason Wu dress.

The “Colombiana” actress wore the “KAWS” black silk sheer dress from Wu’s Spring 2012 collection which features a pointed collar neckline and a negative flower petal print scattered amongst the fabric. One of my favorite things about the dress is how the sheer top breaks off solidly into the print and the black strip down the center spans into the leather belted waist. Love those pink glove KAWS prints!

Zoe made the cocktail dress daytime appropriate as it appears the extra fabric at the hem of the skirt that was seen on the runway was removed and the shimmery sequin detail on the collar – which she left unbuttoned – was non-existent. | continue reading..
