Amidst a colorful spring backdrop of fresh flowers Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated “L’Icona”, an online project curated by photographer, Claiborne Swanson Frank, which officially launched on May 1st and celebrates the 35th anniversary of their iconic “Vara” pump. The “Vara” was first introduced in 1978, and has since become one of the most recognized shoes in the fashion word. The iconic shoe features a mid-heel with a grosgrain bow and gold plaque bearing the Ferragamo logo.

The McKittrick Hotel in New York City–home of Punchdrunk’s SLEEP NO MORE, was filled with guests from music to film–and of course–runway, who took part in the fête that featured DJ entertainment from Alexandera Richards and a performance by Sophie Auster.  | continue reading..

Though Paris Fashion Week is officially underway, I must take a look back at the Salvatore Ferragamo Spring/Summer 2013 presentation that took place on Sunday during Milan Fashion Week.

Claire Julien, Beau Garrett and Kelsey Chow joined a slew of celebs and socialites that came out to support the latest spring collection by Creative Director Massimiliano Giornetti.

Salvatore Ferragamo ‘s Creative Director, Massimiliano Giornetti presented the Resort 2013 Ferragamo collection inside the halls of the prestigious location, marking the first time a brand has conducted a fashion show there.
