MY VERDICT: It’s always nice when a dress I liked on the runway looks even better on the star who took it to the red carpet.  Although there wasn’t an actual ruby rug in sight, January still looked beautiful in the pale blue and white colorblock Jonathan Saunders dress that she donned for the “Mad Men” Season 6 celebration in Hollywood this week.

January added some shimmer to the swirling Spring 2013 pattern with silver mirrored Christian Louboutin for Jonathan Saunders ankle strap sandals, but I’m a bit perplexed as to why she didn’t do something more with her hair.  Minimal accessories–which included gold bar stud earrings–and soft makeup helped complete her look.

MY VERDICT: It must have been a very exciting month for Prabal Gurung as this is the fourth look we’ve seen from his Pre-Fall 2013 collection on the red carpet!  Jennifer Lawrence and Marion Cotillard are both fans of his bold designs and silhouettes in the new line, and now we can add January Jones to the fan club.  The “Mad Men” star stepped out for the SAGs wearing a black matte jersey wrap gown, which featured a white cinched halterneck bodice.  I like that January took a chance–especially with her edgy hairstyle, which required a lot of volume with tapered sides.  I want to really love this, but I can’t help but prefer it as a shortened cocktail dress.  January topped off her look with a diamond bracelet and neon red lips.

January Jones joined her “Mad Men” costar Christina Hendricks at the Peace Over Violence 41st Annual Humanitarian Awards last night where she donned a fun printed dress by Wes Gordon.

Like Katy Perry, the 34-year-old actress is a fan of the bold swan pattern used in Gordon’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection and opted for a navy sleeveless silk blouse dress with an angled lace hem that featured the print all-over. I believe January Jones was one of the best dressed ladies at Thursday’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event!

The “Mad Men” actress arrived at the Chateau Marmont for the fashion show, hosted by Lisa Love and Mark Holgate, wearing a Rachel Zoe blue printed long-sleeve jumpsuit with breezy wide legs and black bordering, from the Resort 2013 collection.  I liked the wider black and gold chain belt that January wore over the thinner version seen on the model.

She finished off with black sunglasses, glossy coral lips, a little wavy to her short strawberry blonde locks and black satin pumps.

Her bright smile and relaxed attitude in this makes me like it even more.

What did you think of January’s jumpsuit?

January Jones kept it on the simple side of glamour when she attended the Chanel 80th anniversary of the “Bijoux de Diamants” high jewelry collection, originally created by Gabrielle Chanel in 1932, in New York last night.

The “Mad Men” actress wore a Chanel strapless floor-length black-and-white dress. I like the dress for her, but not on her. The top portion falls too low and turns into a baggy skirt! That top needs to be hiked up a good two or so inches.

She accessorized with diamond and pearl fine jewelry before finishing off her look with a dark red pout, a little bit of wavy texture to her blonde bob and a pair of black satin pumps.

I’m totally digging her rich bordeaux lacquered manicure!

January Jones couldn’t be missed on the red carpet this past Monday for the 2012 MET Gala in NYC.

As a guest of Donatella Versace, the “Mad Men” actress arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art to a swarm of photographers all trying to get a glimpse of her bright yellow corset gown from the Spring 2012 collection by Atelier Versace with mirrored panels.

While this bustier creation was designed especially for January, a bodysuit version was seen during the presentation for the line during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week earlier this year.

January wore her blonde bob haircut straight and sleek before finishing off her look with open toe gold sandals, a turquoise statement necklace, nude nails courtesy of Chanel ‘s upcoming “Beige” polish and a coral-red pout.

On Tuesday, Emma Roberts joined January Jonesat The Shops At Target launch event in NYC. The soirèe was held in focus of a retail merging concept centered around making shopping at Target more of a functional and enjoyable experience.

Both ladies kept their looks somewhat casual on the red carpet.

Emma wore a white cardigan trimmed in kelly green and navy blue from the Webster for Target collection. She paired the sweater with Citizens of Humanity jeans, a silver glitter Edie Parker “Edie” clutch and super high, black croc-embossed leather pumps by Rachel Zoe. | continue reading..
