MY VERDICT: It was almost as if “Once Upon a Time” star Jennifer Morrison was still riding off of her punked out mood from the MET Gala earlier this month when she turned up at this year’s Billboard Music Awards. The 34-year-old actress stepped out on the blue carpet wearing a very daring dress contraption by Kristian Aadnevik.

Jen wore a racy black bustier corset bodysuit from Aadnevik’s Fall 2013 collection with an attached sheer chiffon floor-length skirt. Due to the barely there fabric, I have no doubt that Jennifer was comfortable in the Las Vegas heat. I know I should probably say that her dress needed to be lined, but I think that would have taken away from the look severely. I only wish that the fabric of the skirt had been a little darker so that it didn’t come off as sheer, because otherwise it’s just one of those things that looks better on the runway. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Oh my mohawk! Just like Hailee Steinfeld, Naomie Harris and Emmy Rossum, “Once Upon a Time” star Jennifer Morrison was clad in a one-of-a-kind dress from Donna Karan Atelier. She wore a reptilian black lace on nude gown with asymmetrical cascading flounce motif on one hip and shoulder with a micro strap detail. I think it’s a beautiful creation, and probably one of the best looks I’ve seen on the actress. The back reminded me of Nina Dobrev’s dress last year.

It didn’t really call out “punk”, but there was still something still rough and sexy about it that captured the theme more than Emmy’s did. When Jennifer styled her long blonde locks into a braided faux hawk with looped edges, it played off the dress rather than being out of place. In a nutshell: punk wasn’t fully there, but it wasn’t non-existent either.

She finished with a black clutch, matching Giuseppe Zanotti platform pumps and custom jewelry by Jherwitt.

Jennifer Morrison and Carrie Underwood were designer twins last night when they both opted to wear statement gowns by Abed Mahfouz at the 2012 American Music Awards; celebrating the 40th anniversary of the ceremony which tips their hat at the hottest performers in music of the year.

Like Carrie, the “Once Upon a Time” actress opted for a glamorous gown from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection; a intensely draped black shimmering gown with split cap-sleeves, a cutout back, plunging v-neck and thigh high slit front and center. This bold design additionally featured beautiful crystal beadwork along the neck.

I like the dress on Jennifer a lot, but I have to say that I was extremely let down by her footwear of choice. Plain nude platform peep toe pumps? Really?………Really?  | continue reading..

Maggie Grace has a new television show called “The Following” debuting this fall, where she stars opposite Kevin Bacon, as well as a large role as a vengeful vampire in the final installment of the “Twilight” franchise, “Breaking Dawn – Part 2″.
