WHERE & WHEN: 2014 MusiCares Person Of The Year Honoring Carole King on January 24, 2014.
WEARING: Alexander McQueen dress, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes & Neil Lane jewelry.
MY VERDICT: Jennifer shined brightly on the blue carpet for the Billboard Music Awards in a soft pink satin EDITION by Georges Chakra gown. The Sugarland singer selected this Spring 2013 scuba-cut design, which features a pretty gold chevron sequin pattern panel down the left side of her leg that’s framed by silver sequin detail traveling throughout the waist and back.
The dress is very pretty, but the problem with this kind of fabric is that there can be a lot of bunching that occurs pretty easily. I wish Jennifer had a smoother fit around the midsection because she looked so lovely in this gown. There’s also an extra panel of lining poking out through the sleeveless opening of her bodice that wasn’t seen on the model. I’m not sure if it’s supposed to be there or not, but I wish it wasn’t.
Jen wore her blonde tresses loosely swept up and pinned, before completing her look with a makeup palette made up of soft rose tones and an assortment of delicate, sparkling diamond Norman Silverman fine jewelry.
Looks like she’s totally embracing the neon trend this spring as she looked very pretty in her custom Max Azria Atelier sleeveless lace gown. The bubblegum shade looked, surprisingly, really good with her fluro yellow sequin belt. | continue reading..

Last night, to the kick off the New York Fall 2012 Fashion Week, the Hammerstein Ballroom played host to the annual Red Dress Collection Fashion Show put on by The Heart Truth and sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company.
Clad in some amazing designer gowns — while walking the runway in this fantastic show — were some of your favorite women in music, television, magazines, and film — including Minka Kelly, Gloria Estefan, Christie Brinkley, Chaka Khan and Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles. | continue reading..
I’ve seen this sequined jumpsuit by Stella McCartney previously in black on Gwen Stefani and in gold on Iman, but I’ve yet to love it as much as I do in this stunning taupe shade on Jennifer.
Due to the lighter color beneath and black chiffon overlay, the sequin illusion of paint splatters really popped on the plunging v-neck jumpsuit. Her curly bob haircut was both pretty and completely non-distracting from the neckline and structured shoulders. | continue reading..
Gaga opened the show with a high energy performance of her latest single, “Marry The Night”, off her album “Born This Way”. Her skeleton make-up reminded me of Zombie Boy who starred in the music video for her album title track single.
After being announced for three GRAMMY nominations during the show, Gaga returned to the stage for a powerhouse performance with Sugarland. Mother Monster and Jennifer Nettles killed it with a duet of the country tone “You and I”, Gaga’s previous single.
During the performance — which closed out the telecast — Gaga sat at her grand piano with “Panda eye” make-up and clad in a shiny onyx one shouldered gown designed by Carolina Herrera. | continue reading..
Jennifer wore a breathtaking grey silk gown featuring a halterneck, draping at the hip, and beautiful crystal bead embellishments from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection by Naeem Khan.
She wore her hair up with casually swept bangs, light make-up and diamond drop earrings. Jennifer really didn’t need to do much with a gown this stunning.
Easily one of my favorites on the red carpet!
I wish she had left it on the whole night — unfortunately she changed into a jacket and pants.
