MY VERDICT: I had to do a double take when Adele hit the red carpet, because I could have sworn she was wearing the beaded gown I wish-listed with the modifications I had hoped for.  As it turns out, the “Skyfall” singer was wearing a custom made black gown by Jenny Packham with a bead-embroidered sheer overlay.  It may not be the Valentino gown I envisioned, but it exuded all of the qualities that I felt would’ve been a great choice for her; a flattering black with a slight scoop-neck, three-quarter length sleeves, and dazzling embellishments.

It’s not a new color or silhouette for her, but it works.  Adele was radiant.  | continue reading..

Busy Philipps proudly displayed her growing belly in a custom made Gabriela Cadena navy blue long sleeve silk dress.  The “Cougar Town” actress, who recently announced her second pregnancy added some boldness to her look with a colorful one-of-a-kind Irene Neuwirth statement necklace and a matching embellished clutch by Judith Leiber.  A scarlet red lip, gathered mane and Brian Atwood “Stearling” shoes were the finishing touches.

Alexis Bledel like Jessica Pare, the 31-year-old actress also opted to wear a brilliant shade of emerald green at the SAGs this year. I love the color and pleated detailing of her structured Rena Lange dress, and the way her beautiful vintage House of Lavende colorful crystal necklace sat amongst the deep v-neckline. MY VERDICT: It’s rare that I really like what Kelly wears on the red carpet, but I instantly fell in love with the fact that she wore one of my favorite Jenny Packham gowns!  The E! correspondent selected this black silk gown from the designer’s Fall 2012 collection, which features a cool rock ‘n roll effect with various sizes of shiny black pyramid studs all over a mesh overlay at the bodice.  The solid color allowed for Kelly’s purple rolled up-do to stand out without clashing, and I adore her complimenting Marchesa embellished clutch.  Taking back to the hair for a moment, I’m all about ‘daring to be different’ but am I the only one totally bored with her hair color?  It only really matters if Kelly loves it—and yet I still can’t wait for her to switch it up.

WHERE & WHEN: 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on January 13, 2013.

MY VERDICT: I’d hate to sound so cliché, but Kristen was truly glowing on the red carpet last night! The mama-to-be looked beautiful in her pale lavender silk Jenny Packham gown, which featured gorgeous crystal beading along the cap sleeve bodice and gown the back.  It can often be a challenge for expectant moms to find the right dress at these events that’s both comfortable and stunning, but Kristen must have felt like the bell of the ball in this ethereal design.  The dress wasn’t the only thing working for her though—a wavy high ponytail with loose tendrils, soft makeup and a clutch that matched her dress helped complete this look.

Awards season is officially upon us, and Kelly Reilly helped kick things off by being one of the best dressed ladies at the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences’ 4th Annual Governors Awards last night.

The “Flight” actress hit the red carpet for the Hollywood event wearing a gorgeous Jenny Packham gown! Kelly selected this off-runway dark burgundy v-neck evening gown that was enhanced with a full short-sleeved beaded black tulle overlay. I like the way her embellished belt matched the embroidery of her black satin clutch. Amy Adams, who was also in attendance, was another lady who opted for a embellished gown by Packham.

Kelly completed her look with black lined smoky eyes, stunning onyx-black, ruby and diamond intricate large earrings—which that complimented her bangles, and a swept up chignon hairstyle.

Dita Von Teese was the epitome of dark beauty when she hit the maroon carpet for the British Fashion Awards 2012 last night wearing an elegant black wrap front, plunging neckline gown by Jenny Packham with onyx-black beaded long sleeves. This design comes from the Fall/Winter 2012 runway collection.

The 40-year-old burlesque dancer didn’t try to distract from the original look and feel of the dress at all, which I liked. She strayed from accessories and merely finished off with her jet-black mane styled in old Hollywood thick pin curls and a dark red matte lip to match her manicure. Somewhere out there in TV land, Morticia Addams is giving Dita golf claps for her flawless Gotchic glamour.

Remember when Carrie Underwood had ten wardrobe changes last year when she co-hosted the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley? Good, because the duo returned to take over hosting duties this year and Carrie added an extra look into the mix!
