Ashley Tisdale in Rafael Cennamo Couture | 2013 Kids’ Choice Awards

Ashley Tisdale in Rafael Cennamo Couture | 2013 Kids' Choice AwardsPhotos: Zimbio; Rafael Cennamo; Jerome C. Rousseau; FLEUR Roma Luxury
WHO: Ashley Tisdale
WHERE & WHEN: Nickelodeon’s 26th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards on March 23, 2013.
WEARING: Rafael Cennamo dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes, a Rebecca Minkoff clutch, and jewelry from Le Vian & Misaki.

MY VERDICT: There was something very aquatic about what Ashley wore to the Kids’ Choice Awards.  The 27-year-old actress selected a beautiful sea foam and mint green embroidered cocktail dress from Rafael Cennamo‘s Spring 2013 Couture Collection. Ashley shortened the design, which features a stunning crystal embellished illusion neckline, to better accommodate her petite figure.  I liked the original length, but I completely agree with the modification.  I really adore this dress in general though; the shimmering detail reminds me of the way light reflects off water… and then I think of mermaids, which brings me to Ariel–duh–and in the end, it just all seems so well-suited for the former Disney Channel princess. | continue reading..

Vanessa Hudgens in Alice + Olivia | “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno”

WHO: Vanessa Hudgens
WHERE & WHEN: “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on March 20, 2013.
WEARING: Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes, and jewelry from Doves & Demarco.

MY VERDICT: Vanessa brightened up the “Tonight Show” when she sat down for an interview with host Jay Leno while wearing a vibrant yellow beaded “Taryn” cap sleeve fitted dress by Alice + Olivia. Is it possible to be in love with a dress? Because, if it is–I am. I love the simplistic but all-around-flattering cut of this dress, but it’s the crunchy embellished detailing that’s as stunning as the color. This was certainly a wise choice for Vanessa; the color complimented her hair color and caramel complexion while also popping off the screen. | continue reading..

Vanessa Hudgens in Moschino | 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party

WHO: Vanessa Hudgens
WHERE & WHEN: 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on February 24, 2013.
WEARING: Moschino dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes, and jewelry from Demarco, Bavna, Le Vian & Gaydamak.

MY VERDICT:  I think we saw one of the best looks ever from Vanessa at the Vanity Fair post-Oscar bash this year.  After several days of fast-paced promo for her new movie “Spring Breakers” in Europe last week, the 24-year-old appeared bright eyed and ready to party when she arrived at the annual event in a pretty slinky fully sequined copper gown by Moschino.  The sassy little dress featured a cowl neck and draped back.

This actually seemed like it was created for Vanessa because it fit so well; the slim column cut made the petite gal appear taller than she actually is.  | continue reading..

WHO: Vanessa Hudgens
WHERE & WHEN: “Spring Breakers” photocall in Madrid, Spain on February 21, 2013.
WEARING: Katharine Kidd top and skirt, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes

MY VERDICT: I was hoping it would happen, and it did. Vanessa wore a really, really cute outfit to the Madrid photocall of her new movie “Spring Breakers”.  The 24-year-old actress didn’t try to over-do it with a voluminous fit or too much going on this time around when she stepped out in a lightweight white Chantilly lace long sleeve crop top and matching a-line skirt by Katharine Kidd, from the designer’s Spring 2013 collection.  It was trendy, young, flattering, and most of all–really cute.

Vanessa coordinated with the laid back feel of the look by styling her shoulder-length tresses in bouncy waves and finishing it all off with a pop of color.  | continue reading..

WHO: Emmy Rossum
WHERE & WHEN: “Beautiful Creatures” Hollywood premiere on February 6, 2013.
WEARING: Oday Shakar dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes

MY VERDICT: I thought Zoey looked amazing last night!  The 18-year-old stepped out for the premiere of “Beautiful Creatures” wearing a striking Spring 2013 back satin gown by Oday Shakar with a gorgeous full floral lace embroidered back.  It has a fun peek-a-boo element at the front sides where it gives you a glimpse of the lace, but then Zoey turned to the side and–boom!–gave you this burst of alluring beauty.  I find the concept really unique, and I always find it refreshing to see something new and a bit unexpected.  One side of the column design features a super high slit, and although Zoey was giving us the opposite end in this photo, I included a visual the fierce strappy “Orner” suede sandals by Jerome C. Rousseau that she wore. | continue reading..

WEARING: Alice + Olivia dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes & clutch, and jewelry by Le Vian & Carrera y Carrera.

MY VERDICT:  Holland looked like a beautiful little pixie in her white dress and gold accessories at the Hollywood premiere of “Warm Bodies”.  The 24-year-old actress hit the red carpet in the “Gwen” high neck feathered skirt dress from Alice + Olivia by Stacey Bendet, which features a pretty cap sleeve bodice that’s completely embroidered with delicate beading.

Holland coordinating with the fairytale feel of the look with a gold and white “Jem” pearlized embossed python clutch and matching “Zell” gold mirrored leather platform sandals—both by Jerome C. Rousseau.   | continue reading..

Julie Bowen in Johanna Johnson | 2013 SAG Awards

Julie Bowen in Johanna Johnson | 2013 SAG AwardsPhotos: Zimbio; Jerome C. Rousseau
WHO: Julie Bowen
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: Johanna Johnson dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes, Judith Leiber clutch & Neil Lane jewelry.

MY VERDICT: In a sea of embroidery, tulle and navy, Julie Bowen stood out in some edgy black leather!  The “Modern Family” star opted for a plunging neck from Johanna Johnson dress with a full length a-line skirt and cool crystal embellished at the cap sleeves.  I’m so used to seeing Julie wear bright colors and fluid layers that I’m both surprised and kind of excited to see her switch it up. I like that she rocked a high ponytail and some smoky eyes, but didn’t take it to intense levels.  She finished off with a funky pair of strappy Jerome C. Rousseau “Fink” sandals and a fun metallic Judith Leiber clutch. | continue reading..

WHO: Julia Stiles
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: AMEN Couture dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes & Le Vian jewelry.

MY VERDICT: Julia glittered her way down the red carpet over the weekend looking beautiful in a AMEN Couture electric sequin embellished dark silver gown with a ultra-plunging neckline. The “Silver Linings Playbook” star selected the dress from the Fall 2012 collection, and played up the glamour by styling her hair in vintage Hollywood swept waves.  She kept her neck bare but opted for adding a bit more glitz with Le Vian jewelry and a pair of metallic “Orner” platform strappy sandals by Jerome C. Rousseau. Both are pictured below.

Jaimie Alexander in Marc Bouwer | 2013 SAG Awards

Jaimie Alexander in Marc Bouwer | 2013 SAG AwardsPhotos: Zimbio; Marc Bouwer; Jerome C. Rousseau
WHO: Jaimie Alexander
WHERE & WHEN: 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on January 27, 2013.
WEARING: Marc Bouwer dress, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes

MY VERDICT: It was all about structure and drama for Jaimie Alexander, who was one of the first ladies to hit the SAGs red carpet.  The “Last Stand” star wore a black silk Marc Bouwer Fall 2012 gown, which featured strong shoulders, a cutout plunging neckline and matching open back, and a rise-and-fall gliding train.  I assumed Jaimie was going to turn to Marc for her dress, but this was such an unexpected yet cool look for her to rock. What I loved most was that she kept her shoes interesting with caged “Orner” sandals by Jerome C. Rousseau. Another highlight for me was Jaimie’s flawless makeup as well as her swept and twisted up-do.  I don’t think this is a design for everyone, but I feel like she held her own. | continue reading..

WEARING Monique Lhuillier gown, Jerome C. Rousseau shoes, Salvatore Ferragamo clutch & Daniella Villegas jewelry.

MY VERDICT: I guess every girl wants that moment where she feels like a princess, and Julianne used the Golden Globe red carpet this year as the perfect opportunity to live that moment out in her Monique Lhuillier gown.  The “Safe Haven” arrived wearing this beautiful (and voluminous) white gown from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection with gold embroidery along the neck that splattered amongst the full, layered skirt. | continue reading..
