MY VERDICT: Jessica Alba arrived on the leopard carpet (OMG!) for Spike TV’s Guys Choice Awards 2013 this weekend wearing quite the colorful ensemble. The 32-year-old actress flaunted her toned figure in a sexy little yellow bustier Atelier Versace mini dress, which popped against her glowing bronze skin. She added an extra citrus dose with dark orange pointed toe Céline pumps. It’s summertime so this was fun, and she can clearly pull it off. MY VERDICT: It may feel like all of Hollywood is currently at the Cannes Film Festival, but Jessica Alba spent her night working the Marina Bay Sands black carpet at the Social Star Awards in Singapore. The 32-year-old actress announced the winners of the first-ever ceremony, a 24-hour award show that’s live streamed on YouTube. Jessica flaunted her curves in a Zuhair Murad strapless cocktail dress from the Spring 2013 collection. The white beaded design features an underlay of white lace over nude lining for a sexy illusion paneled effect.

MY VERDICT:  I’m a total fan of how Jessica was styled for the Kids’ Choice Awards this year.  The 31-year-old star of “Escape from Planet Earth” rocked the purple carpet in a colorful Mary Katrantzou cap sleeve “Lella” jacquard dress. The printed fit-and-flare Spring 2013 design featured aqua-mint lines in the graphics, and Jessica highlighted that small but impactful detail by accessorizing with a silver clutch that was outlined in the same bright shade.  That’s all well and good, but the fact that she took it a step further by having her eyelids lined in an aqua glitter shadow just really hit the mark for me. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT:  Intentional or not, Jessica celebrated the romantic month of February when she stepped out on the blue carpet for the Hollywood premiere of “Escape From Planet Earth” wearing a black and red lace dress.  The 31-year-old actress turned to the Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2013 collection for her a-line ruby satin cocktail dress with all over black floral embroidery.  She kept the look appropriate for the winter season by pairing it with opaque tights and black Louis Vuitton pumps.  The gold embellished cap toes kept her shoes from getting totally lost with the closely-matching tights. | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: As my out-right favorite design from the Fall/Winter 2012 Haute-Couture collection by Elie Saab, I was very excited to see that Jessica wore this black fully-embroidered lace gown last night for the Producers Guild Awards.  The deep sweetheart neckline, the dazzling slightly sheer skirt and appliqué sleeves are such beauties that I basically have no qualms about this look. MY VERDICT: When I think of Sundance, I don’t think of getting dressed up as much as staying cozy and stylish.  Jessica looked very pretty in her Christian Dior black and white silk crepe dress, and I like the added warmth of the black tights, but it just felt too fancy for the festival. Maybe if she had layered on a cool jacket, it would have given the whole ensemble a different vibe.  The dress was one thing, but she made her look extra cocktail-party-ready with grey slingback pointed toe pumps, a black patent clutch, Dior fine jewelry and an elegant bouffant hairstyle.  Great outfit, wrong event.

MY VERDICT: I was so excited to see this beautiful melon silk faille trumpet gown by Oscar de la Renta at the Golden Globes this year; this design had made my Wish List, and although it was worn by someone else that I had envisioned it in, I was not disappointed in the least.  Jessica looked incredible in the strapless gown; her honey tresses were waved to perfection and that diamond Harry Winston necklace could complete a look all on its own.  With a light nail polish to compliment and bright coral lips, this look was almost perfect from head-to-toe…and then that odd feathered clutch got in the way.

Jessica Alba brightened up the morning when she helped Megan Fox and Ed Helms present the nominations for the 70th Annual Golden Globes Awards today in her vibrant pink dress!

The 31-year-old actress wore a sleeveless peplum Dior dress that fell at her knees and enhanced her curves.  It was a cute trendy spin on a classic silhouette, and I found that it flattered Jessica’s caramel complexion and light wavy mane brilliantly. | continue reading..

Jessica Alba and Camilla Belle were among the 180 select VIP guests who helped Salvatore Ferragamo celebrate the re-opening of the Ferragamo boutique on Old Bond Street, and 75 years of the fashion label in London last night, with a private cocktail party at the newly renovated boutique.

Although she kept warm in a long coat upon arrival, Jessica revealed her beautiful, minimalist chic ensemble as she posed near the handbags. The 31-year-old actress wore a pleated v-neck silk maxi dress that was belted with a beautiful gold and black leather accent accessory. Jessica wore her long ombré locks out and loose before completing her look with black-onyx nail polish and a patent textured slim envelope clutch.
