It should be known that LADY GAGA never does anything halfway, so you should also not be surprised by her hair-raising September cover of the ultimate fashion magazine, our beloved VOGUE.

Lens by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the pop star poses on the cover of the 916-page issue, which also marks its 120th anniversary, wearing a gorgeous metallic purple off-the-shoulder mermaid gown by Marc Jacobs.

The soaring ribbon adorned cover is a great departure from past issues, but does it “fly” with you? If not, let’s pay attention to the inside where Gaga is styled in a furry ensemble of Fall/Winter 2012 fashion.

Well…kind of… she’s also totally-err-mostly naked in a photo or two.

Again, this should not be a surprise. | continue reading..

Get The Look: Kate Beckinsale is a ‘Serpent Goddess’ for the “Total Recall” Premiere!

Get The Look: Kate Beckinsale's 'Total Recall' Effortless Serpent Goddess StylePhotos: Zimbio
KATE BECKINSALE was quite the head turner at the black carpet Hollywood premiere of “Total Recall” when she stepped out in a dramatic black-and green reptile embossed asymmetric gown. Both striking and sparkling, the English actress kept the rest of her look so complimentary that she stunned from every angle.

As The Fashion Court breaks down her head-to-toe beauty details, let’s begin with her pretty face. Make-up artist MOLLY R. STERN had the perfect plan for Kate’s look after feasting her eyes on that dress.

Molly explains, “It was so exciting to get Kate ready for the premiere of ‘Total Recall’. Her look was edgy and undone while still looking flawless for a big Hollywood night out. Wearing a reptile printed Armani Privé dress, Kate left looking like a serpent goddess.” | continue reading..

Cover Girl: Katie Holmes Pops Her Collar For Marie Claire

KATIE HOLMES  covers the November issue of Marie Claire magazine popping her collar in red leather for what just might be my favorite editorial she’s done in a very long time. You may have seen this issue floating around the internet or at your local newsstand, but I think it’s due time I express my interest in the fashion frenzy that surrounded this daytime photo shoot.

In the issue Katie sat down with Galt Niederhoffer, who wrote, produced and directed her in the 2010 film “The Romantics”, at a Brooklyn diner to talk about the next chapter in her — including her clothing collection and new film projects.

I can’t say that the cover of Katie — clad in a red leather trench coat from the Resort 2012 Collection by Yves Saint Laurent — is my favorite. It’s kind of bland. Fortunately the shoot got more and more interesting as it went on. | continue reading..
