Miley Cyrus took to the stage tonight at the Shrine Auditorium to perform during the 2011 CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute, honoring everyday people changing the world.

The 19-year-old singer performed her inspirational hit song “The Climb” while donned in a vibrant blue dress from the Resort 2012 collection by Juan Carlos Obando.

Miley left the neck-tie undone and allowed the deep neckline to fold out-ward to show off her layered Loree Rodkin necklaces. I noticed that part of the split neckline was actually altered so that it didn’t travel as deep for her.

I really liked the tie detail at the  gathering of wrist of her split long-sleeves. This gorgeous silk floor-length design also allowed for her to show off her black strappy Balenciaga sandals due to the asymmetric hem. I adore the easy vibe of this gown, and Miley really pulled it off. I much prefer this look to her previous history of performing in revealing bodysuits, then again, there’s also the setting of this particular event to think about.

My favorite part of her look was the messy mostly undone side braid that her hair was styled in. It was perfectly imperfect.

Miley finished off her look with rings and earrings that were also from Loree Rodkin.
