WHERE & WHEN: The 40th Annual People’s Choice Awards on January 8, 2014.
WEARING: Tom Ford
13. ROBERT SHEEHAN
Robert practically gave me whiplash when he broke out this paisley printed Dent de Man suit at the Hollywood premiere of “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones” this past summer. A man who has the ability to opt for such a bold pattern and rock the heck out of it with glowing white shoes? It would’ve been simply wrong not to put him on this list.
12. JAMIE CAMPBELL BOWER
I pretty much liked a lot of what Jamie wore on the press tour for “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones”, but I don’t think any of them stood out as much as this deep burgundy McQ Alexander McQueen look at the Toronto premiere. I loved the rich tones, and the styling of the shirt, sunglasses, shiny oxfords, and slicked back hair helped bright it all together. I much prefer all of that over too-big suits or combat boots.
11. NICHOLAS HOULT
I adore Nicholas and his style, especially the gorgeous deep Tom Ford blue-violet dinner jacket he donned at the punked out MET Ball this year. It may not have been exactly on-theme with the evening, but it’s gorgeous, so I can’t deny it was one of my favorite menswear looks of the evening…and the year. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: The usually ‘dapper’ Mr. Timberlake was exactly just that when he stepped out for an interview at “Le Grand Journal” today while promoting his new movie “Inside Llewyn Davis” during the 66th annual Cannes Film Festival. The 32-year-old sunglasses-clad handsome singer/actor wore a Dior Homme grey wool “Prince of Wales” check two-button notch lapel sport jacket partnered with a pair of black wool trousers and a white cotton shirt.
JT added a touch of elegance to his blazer with a Lanvin black flower appliqué before finishing with Dior Homme black leather derbies. | continue reading..
MY VERDICT: I may have been liking what Justin was giving to us on the red carpet a few weeks ago for the SAG Awards, but clearly it doesn’t top what he wore for Grammy night. The “Suit & Tie” singer was looking mighty delicious in a black Tom Ford tuxedo, from the Spring 2013 collection, that includes a slick blazer, a white trim pocket square and a pouty bow tie. On paper, it sounds like classic formal menswear–but seriously–he’s working that jacket. I equally applaud the fact that Mr. JT passed on typical shiny patent dress shoes in favor of some black-and-white loafers.
MY VERDICT: Whether you’re a fan of his new single “Suit & Tie” or not, I’m sure you can’t deny the beauty of Justin finally returning to music. But, that’s not the only thing looking good; the singer killed it on the red carpet last night in his bold and brilliant Tom Ford silk linen hopsack damier O’Connor suit. Of course Mr. JT wore a printed suit, of course he did—and I thank him for that. Justin partnered his two piece look with a contrast slim pastel brown gingham shirt, a dark brown and beige dot silk jacquard tie, and a brown and white silk pocket square that complimented all.
The handsome man finished with shiny lace up shoes and the iconic Cartier “Louis Tank” watch in pink gold to match his shirt.
Now, moving on…are his curls gone forever?
The 30-year-old actress slipped into a comfortable aqua silk Nina Ricci dress, from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, which featured an asymmetric hem, cutaway strips and a lace necklace. I think the color looks beautiful on her, but I can’t say that I totally understand the pairing of the bright turquoise suede Jimmy Choo “Anouk” pumps. | continue reading..
PEOPLE Magazine has the exclusive wedding photos of Justin and Jessica’s big day in the November 5, 2012 issue, which is currently on newsstands now, where we get a look at the location, the cake, and of course — the dress.
Justin looked handsome in a black Tom Ford tuxedo, while Jessica donned a custom floral pink-infused white strapless ball gown by Giambattista Valli, which was originally seen in red-and-pink during the Spring 2012 Haute Couture fashion show. | continue reading..
The “Total Recall” actress celebrated the opening of the “Schiaparelli And Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibition wearing a Prada ivory double stretch satin, deep v-neck gown with gorgeous cascading jade green stones.
I really loved the dress embroideries, the cropped length and the way Jessica complimented it by accessorizing with light pink satin platform pumps and a jade green, satin minaudière. | continue reading..
