The biggest fashion event of the year is finally here! The red carpet will be filled with all types of punk rock glam this Monday night for the 2013 Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala where your favorite heavy-hitters in fashion, music, film and television will mingle at the stylish fête. Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci will be hosting the VOGUE soirèe that has been officially themed “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” to honor the latest exhibition at the mueseum.

MY VERDICT: Hands down, Kate had to be one of the best dressed stars at the Golden Globes tonight!  I thought her red number a few months ago was the best we had seen from her in a long time, but clearly she found a way to top that.  The 33-year-old showed off her fantastic figure in a Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2013 black silk cady gown with a strong gold bead and crystal embroidered neck, dramatic keyhole opening and a matching embellished belt.  I love the style, the fit, and how she wore it by styling it with a bronze clutch, ornate gold earrings and long flowing tresses.

The accessories were, thankfully, not overdone—but I adore her minimal, yet flawless makeup even more.

A+++ Kate!  Well done. Seriously, well done.

Whoa mama! It’s almost hard to believe that Kate Hudson had her second son just last year with her figure in such tip-top shape. Seriously, homegirl was looking so bad-ass last night when she attended the amfAR Inspiration Gala and werqed. the. heck. out of a bold red dress.

The 33-year-old actress stars this season as a dance instructor for Lea Michele’s college freshman character in New York City.
