Kate Moss celebrated the launch of her new book “Kate: The Kate Moss Book” at a special party thrown in her honor by her friend Marc Jacobs. The fancy celebration was held at 50 St. James on Thursday night in London.

The 38-year-old model sparkled in a custom made gold Marc Jacobs gown with a plunging neck. I liked the intricate swirled detail at the bodice, but I really like that it wasn’t your typical short party dress.

Kate really stood out—as she should considering it was her big night.

With her long multidimensional blonde hair styled in piecey waves, she completed her look with gold jewelry, nude lips, dark kohl-lined eyes and a black quilted handbag.

Some of Great Britain’s top models made an Olympic-sized entrance during the closing ceremony of the 2012 London Olympic Games last night in London, England. Lead by the incomporable Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell — Lily Cole, Stella Tennant, Karen Elson, Lily Donaldson, Georgia May Jagger, Jourdan Dunn and David Gandy strut their way on the runway to the theme of David Bowie’s “Fashion” while clad head-to-toe in glittering gold.

Kate Moss looked incredible in her wide v-neck, short sleeve gown that was designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. The creation shimmered as she moved, but thanks to the official Twitter for the fashion house — we were able to get a detailed look at the gorgeous embellishing.

Naomi Campbell also wore a Alexander McQueen bespoke dress by Sarah Burton. She showed off her famous long legs in a sparkling 3D embellished mullet gown, which was inspired by the Spring/Summer 2012 collection, and featured cutouts at the shoulder of the high-neck frock. Salvatore Ferragamo launched a special new film on their official YouTube Channel today starring the faces of their Fall/Winter 2012 campaign — Sean O’Pry, Karmen Pedaru …and Kate Moss.

The seductive, dramatic — and just under two-minute film was directed by famed fashion photographer Mikael Jansson, and takes place in Berlin’s gilded Russian embassy.

2011 was a huge year of wedding bliss!
