WHERE & WHEN: “Labor Day” Premiere during the 57th BFI London Film Festival on October 14, 2013.
WEARING: Jenny Packham
MY VERDICT: Kate made a stunning arrival at the Ryerson Theatre this evening for the TIFF premiere of her new movie “Labor Day”. The elegant English actress, who is pregnant with her third child, wore a bespoke Jenny Packham full length black crepe cap sleeved gown that featured a beautiful dark Swarovski embellished empire belt that rested beautifully above her belly.
I’m glad that Kate opted for a simplistic cut because it hugged her curves perfectly. She accessorized with a metallic minaudière, diamond Ana Khouri earring cuffs, and black point toe pumps. I like her edgy woven chignon a lot, but the back could’ve used some tidying considering the overall look here was so polished. The hairstyle doesn’t go with the dress.
In honor of this, on April 4th the Academy Award-winning film returns to the big screen in 3D and actress Kate Winslet was in London today to celebrate the film at the red carpet premiere held at The Royal Albert Hall. | continue reading..

Nina Dobrev was the first lady to catch my eye on the carpet tonight at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards. The 22-year-old star of “The Vampire Diaries” arrived in style wearing a custom red gown by Donna Karan that had previously been seen in black for DK’s resort 2012 collection.
I’ve always thought Nina was a beautiful girl and had so much red carpet potential therefore I was over-the-moon to see her really come into her own tonight. The gown , the accessories, her hair and make-up — everything worked. I have a solid feeling she will be crowned one of the “Best Dressed” women tonight by many Emmy viewers. | continue reading..
