MY VERDICT: We got a double dose of Kaufmanfranco beauty yesterday thanks to Taylor Swift’s mini and Jennifer’s super sexy gown.  The 43-year-old singer selected another white ensemble this evening when she rocked the red carpet in Vegas as she premiered “Parker” on the west coast; she’s wearing a Spring 2013 ice sheer paneled backless column floor-length dress. I think many will be talking about this look for awhile, so I’m just going to go on the record by saying she’s one fierce mama.  I really liked her hair too; JLo always looks great with this swept up style and face-framing loose locks.

She finished off her look with a dark Ferragamo clutch, diamond jewelry, and (as always) her makeup looked great.

MY VERDICT: Dang, Taylor keeps getting better and better with her red carpet style!  The 23-year-old singer posed on the blue carpet tonight in Madrid where she donned a short and super sassy ice linear crystal encrusted long sleeve Kaufmanfranco shift dress, from the Spring 2013 collection—which featured a daring rectangle cut plunging illusion neckline.  As if that wasn’t surprising enough for Miss Swift’s evolving look, she paired it with super high platform “Dufoura” sandals by Christian Louboutin with sheer and metallic straps. Whoa, hello.  Taylor could have ramped up the sex-appeal with a sharp ponytail, but I like that she softened things up with loose curls and dazzling diamonds (Ofira earrings, Lorraine Schwartz ring). | continue reading..

MY VERDICT: Why on Earth are more people not talking about how fabulous Connie looked last night at the Golden Globes? I mean, seriously, the 45-year-old “Nashville” star looked fantastic in her Kaufmanfranco “Ginger” crystal bead-embellished column gown, from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection.  As classic of a silhouette and style as it may be, when something works and looks good—run with it, and I’m so glad she did.  As if the dress wasn’t pretty enough to steal attention on its own, Connie perfectly accessorized with matching jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz. While a few of her gold bangles picked up the golden detail in her frock, the darker silver baubles complimented her nail color!  The look was complete with soft makeup and glamorous cascading ginger red curls.  On a note, is it weird that I totally pictured her wearing gold?

Before she attended the premiere of “Butter” on Thursday night, Ashley Greene attended a special press conference and photocall in New York City on Wednesday afternoon to promote the Jim Field Smith-directed movie.

With her hair styled in pretty (and shiny) tumbling ringlets, Ashley wore a light blush-colored “Ginger” raw cut leather full skirt dress from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection by Kaufmanfranco.

First things first, I’m so glad Ash opted for the thinner metal plate belt over the wide one seen on the model, but even with that detail going on — I’m still not loving this dress on her. | continue reading..

Julianne Hough arrived on the black carpet at Grauman’s Chinese Theater last night for the Hollywood premiere of “Rock of Ages” wearing a super bright dress.

The 23-year-old star had this Fall 2012 illusion cutout, single-shoulder gown by Kaufmanfranco created in a neon highlighter yellow from its original Chinese red.

I like the color, and it fit the 80′s rock ‘n roll theme of the movie –but the dress was really long on Julianne and I have no idea what’s going on with her hair. | continue reading..

Grace Potter glittered her way down the printed purple carpet at Bridgestone Arena for the 2012 CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night, where she donned a sparkling gunmetal gown by Kaufmanfranco.

While the front of the dress featured a plunging open neck, the talented musician made sure to spin a few times for photographers to show off the totally open cutaway back.

No worries though, she wasn’t in danger of a wardrobe malfunction because the cutout detailing was covered with illusion sheer fabric to hold everything together for a flawless fit. | continue reading..

Julianne Hough looked gorgeous when she arrived for the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday night.

In possibly her best ‘red carpet look’ ever, the 23-year-old “Rock of Ages” star wore a orange-red silk gown by KaufmanFranco. This plunging-neck design featured gathering from the metal plated waist.

It was a perfect fit and a stunning color on her.

She flawlessly finished off her look with natural makeup, diamond oversize teardrop earrings and a wavy coif that was pinned up with a bit of volume in the front.

Julianne Hough arrived at the MGM Grand tonight in Las Vegas for the 2012 Billboard Music Awards wearing a sparkling silver, crystal cocktail dress by KaufmanFranco.

Is it just me, or does it look like her dress is a bedazzled towel? There’s something about the way it gathers at the top and falls asymmetrically across her body. It’s the prettiest towel I’ve ever seen.
